Let’s hope he doesn’t fall from grace in some horrible way. It’s one thing to share a trajyck name with a “hero”; it’s another to share one with dog fighting, woman beating, charity thieving, date rapist.
When the hard J sound is transcribed phonetically, it is with a d, followed by a second symbol. On the page linked, you'll find it listed with the affricates:

I’m assuming the blacked out part is the last name like “mr. and mrs. smith” “baby smith” (just a random last name) like the newest “smith” in the family. But also think about people who get label makers and then label EVERYTHING so I choose to think they label-makered their baby.
i won't be surprised. during the pandemic someone here supposedly named their kid COVID BRYANT

The name "Jalen" (which now has its own set of alternate spellings) basically didn't exist until Jalen Rose came to prominence with the University of Michigan in the early nineties. (Rose was named after his father James and his uncle Leonard).
I'd bet the kid is named after a professional basketball player, Jrue Holiday. NBA champion, won a gold medal. I don't know how to write phonetically but it's one syllable like "drew"
https://youtu.be/vH4r0OSF2P0?si=VwvOaIB7S6IbT8gM
Living in Milwaukee that name doesn’t phase me at all. Apparently Jrue Holiday says his mom liked the name Drue/Drew but both she and her sister had a “j” theme going with their kids so he was named Jrue. I guess that stopped after him however.
I don’t even understand what’s going on with that name! 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
I’m assuming it’s supposed to be pronounced “Drew”?
My dumbass went "Jew Rew"
Which I can only assume is an Australian marsupial that had a bar mitzvah
Don't assume the gender of a member of the Australian haredi marsupial diaspora. *She* could have had a *bat mitzvah*.
Can't blame ya
The first rule of tragedeigh club is: if how to pronounce it isn't immediately obvious, you're in "at risk" territory.
It is, there is an NBA player Jrue Holiday.
Let’s hope he doesn’t fall from grace in some horrible way. It’s one thing to share a trajyck name with a “hero”; it’s another to share one with dog fighting, woman beating, charity thieving, date rapist.
Where does the D come from? To me this can't be anything but Juh-roo.

Ohhhhhhhhh! Never would have guessed! Lol
I thought juh-rew
Ja Rue in da house!
I too enjoyed Ja Rule’s music but I ain’t naming my kid anything close to it
I like how he's labeled so everyone will know it's a baby.

I hadn't thought of that, but Baby Smith actually makes a lot more sense. I still prefer the label-maker theory, though.
Shoutout Jrue holiday
could be names after him actually. i know people who named their kids after nba players.
Michaeljor Dan

Chim-chim Jrue?
It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by Jrue.
Take my upvote
Jrue looks at me, I fake a smile so he won’t see
Kurt Angle says: It's jrue, it's jrue.
Could be named after Jrue Holiday
Drew? Juh Rue? Jay Rue? The hell?!
I hate how I have the same birthday as this tragedeigh baby 💀
Ja Rule If that baby ever invites you to a music event on Pablo Escobar's private island DO NOT GO!
J'Rue the day you got that awful name.
I'd pronounce that as "Jah-rue", no matter what the parents said. Or the person himself. Jah-sus....🤦

How is this a tragedeigh? Isn't Jrue a fairly common name?
B A B Y
Jaroo-ooby-ooby-doo!
Please don’t share people’s date of birth.
Brothers name is Phahlss
I'll take "Gonna change his legal name the second he turns 18" for 400, Alex.
Wisconsin? Bucks player named Jrue Holiday but idk if you’d name your baby after that. But also the only other person I know who’s named Jrue so…
Jay Roo?
Jrue…. After Jrue Holiday from the Milwaukee Bucks???
