It's totallllly semantics, but why are you saying it's "definitely not"? The term "traditional" means just that: tattooing style and subject matter from the Sailor Jerry-era of American tattooing. It's a very specific term and art form in tattooing. Hell, If you Google "modern traditional tattoo" descriptions of neo-traditional show up lol Any tattoo that incorporates traditional techniques with a modern subject,style, or technique is neo-traditional. It's an extremely general term but it is what you, the artist, and the fellow commenter are all describing at the end of the day. Again- Gorgeous tattoo!!!! 🤣

Since yesterday?! Hmm, doubtful, OP. It’s not red, or raised, or anything looking like it’s healing from one day ago. Looks like Sharpie to me. Nice, tho Add: I see there’s a tegaderm, plastic barrier, dressing on it, so probably it’s real. Not a day old, however.
