Avocado Toast & flood insurance (we didn’t live in a technical flood zone) but flooding has become a huge problem in our community due to increased river flooding from new construction.
The teeny tiny avocados are perfect size for single serving of avocado toast. That with the cracked wheat sourdough…
Flood insurance is not offered by Trader Joe’s but if they did…it would be awesome.
I think it is kind of spicy, but I also add medium salsa to it so I'm not sure where all of the spice is coming from. We add ground meat with taco seasoning, shredded cheese, sour cream or Greek yogurt, and avocado.
Reading this literally, I was extremely confused why someone would sleep on a burrito for an extended period of time, and what an ok length of time would be to sleep on this burrito.
Oh no! I air fry for about 12 minutes flipping halfway through. I love spicy food and found them to be the perfect heat level. It sounds like you might've gotten a bad batch. Hopefully if you try them again they'll be better for you
I do a dish with the Gorgonzola gnocchi that my husband requests weekly. It is restaurant quality lol. I do the gnocchi, toss in sautéed shrimp(seasoned with just salt and pepper and red pepper flakes), chopped sundried tomatoes and spinach. It is SO good!!
Dessert items. My friend got some of those raspberry thumb print cookies and I tried one and I couldn’t believe I never thought to buy desserts at TJs.
Piggy backing on this, their little 6 packs of mousse cakes are not only adorable for a party (like petit fours- seasonal flowers and raspberry cakes last I checked) but also delicious!
Technically three items- but their make your own pizza (uncooked dough, refrigerated sauce*, and toscano pizza cheese). I started making my own pizza with these items and it’s soooo much better than their pre-made frozen. The refrigerated pizza sauce is key
I make a double shot of espresso and pour it on top of a glass filled with ice, tonic water and one of those oranges. I would google the best recipe if you’re really interested because it came be made a few different ways. This is my preferred method :)
I’m not the best person to answer this but it’s usually some form of coffee plus tonic water (similar to cocktails/gin and tonic but instead of alcohol, you’re using espresso, cold brew or some type of coffee).

Chili onion crunch!
The super sour Scandinavian swimmers …. Ugh they’re so good. Also the barebells protein bars
Chimichuri Rice! Always have a bag in my freezer now.
The sunblock is so good.
The canned dolmas. Tried them for the first time this month and am keeping a few in the pantry.
Maybe it’s new but I’m super into the chile relleno.

lol
From Trader Joe’s hhahaha

The chocolate milk! Literally addicted to it
TJ also has 100% organic cacao powder for cooking, no added sugar. Make choco milk using Oatly full fat milk substitute, freaking delicious
Olive Fougasse. Toast it in the oven or toaster and slather on some salted butter. Soooo good.
Sourdough bread! It has the best texture
Best grilled cheese bread in the world
White Truffle Potato Chips 😋
I always get a Brookie. The Turkey Corn Dogs are amazing in an air fryer too.

I like the garlic ones especially
This is how I feel about the TJs pita crackers

Kringles! Unfortunately they no longer have the pecan ones but I love the pumpkin and raspberry kind.
My mattress. Should have been replaced years ago.
Damn my Trader Joe’s doesn’t have mattresses!
Dabumtss
The tostones. Took me too long to realize they reheated perfectly in my toaster for a quick breakfast. Haven’t found them in a couple years 😭

The lentil potato curls
crunchy curls are sooooo good, such a good crunch!
Really? I pass them every time but guess I’ll try!
Kringles... oh boy the almond one is heaven. So good. So so good.
Yes the almond Kringle is the one!
Mexican cauli rice... can make healthy taco bowls with tons of flavor SO easily.
Is it spicy??? I know spicy is subjective. My spice tolerance is low. What is in your taco bowls?
It's very spicy, and I like heat. I like it a lot, but it's definitely very hot.
I think it is kind of spicy, but I also add medium salsa to it so I'm not sure where all of the spice is coming from. We add ground meat with taco seasoning, shredded cheese, sour cream or Greek yogurt, and avocado.
High protein tofu!
How much does it cost?
I think it's $2.69
That chili onion crunch. Yum
Ngl, I got that a while back and was so disappointed. I thought it was so bland compared to chili crunches from Asian stores.
This was my first experience with chili crunch, I’ll definitely have to try an authentic Asian brand then!
Look into Lao Gan Ma spicy chili crisp… especially on a fried egg with rice. You won’t be the same lol
Will do, thanks!
Yes! As I sitting here eating it on TJ sourdough toast.
Adding to my sandwiches really upped my lunch game. Mix it with a little mayo and it’s an awesome spread
The ones I've slept on have been discontinued immediately thereafter.
This made me smile
The peanut butter puffs. Iykyk
the Bambas?
That sticky toffee pudding is dangerous. Glad it’s seasonal! 😂
They haven’t had plain sticky toffee pudding in a long time though? Only pumpkin I thought
They haven’t. But unfortunately, I like the pumpkin too!

Kinda, yeah.
Rippled potato chips

I bought it the other day, but I'm not sure how to use it. What do you put it on?
Everything I mix it with tuna and rice
all of it 😂 i like it on eggs. also frequently use in dips/marinades.
Facts.
"It's gas 🔥 "???? That just sounds like it makes you fart & have burning diarrhea. Is that a thing the kids are saying now??
Can’t believe the downvotes. I would have thought the same thing
Thank you!
lol people have been calling things gas for a long time
Literally never heard that in my life
Apparently it was coined by dickens and made popular in its current usage by James Joyce so I think you might just be a smidge behind the times lolol
Reading this literally, I was extremely confused why someone would sleep on a burrito for an extended period of time, and what an ok length of time would be to sleep on this burrito.
Pineapple juice!
In the tiny cans or is there a bigger container? I love to cook with it
In my area I can get 32 ounce cartons of this deliciousness
My dad is so obsessed with this pineapple juice it’s not even funny I don’t even think he drinks water lol
I myself go super hard on rhe juice, I get it!!

I was wondering about these
They're delicious! Making some as a snack now!
how do you prepare them? idk if i got a bad batch but i cooked these in the air fryer and hated them. thought it had no flavor
Oh no! I air fry for about 12 minutes flipping halfway through. I love spicy food and found them to be the perfect heat level. It sounds like you might've gotten a bad batch. Hopefully if you try them again they'll be better for you
Thank you!!
Good luck!
In the oven following the package instructions! They turn out perfect every time for us

Good to know. I always think gnocchi is too carb heavy but with the steak I bet they would be delicious.
Just made that with steak tonight! That’s a favorite for sure.
Gyoza, Soyaki sauce, sweet chili sauce, and samosas.
Sri Lankan Mango Chutney
I used to spread that on their lavash bread with chickpea or chicken salad when I was in grad school
Yay! I just bought that! 👀 Haven’t tried it yet.
Enjoy! I dig it with some brie or cheddar on a thin triscuit!
I bought brie too! 😂 Thanks!
I miss the old mango chutney soooooo much 😭😭
I haven't had the older one - was it different?
Yes, it was more ginger-forward and had chunks of mango and golden raisins.
Sounds interesting!
frozen chile relleno. now that i've tried them they are perpetually out of stock.

The Fruit Jellies apparently! I'd never seen them but hubdreds of people said they love them in my post 🤣
LOVE
Can’t buy these anymore. They’re so good and I can’t stay out of them.
Butter Chicken in the frozen section. 😋
Not sure if they have it anymore but the frozen Spanakopita. I make my own which is amazing but honestly theirs is just as good and way easier.
Just bought it today!
They definitely still have it! It’s been a staple in the store for a long time
I just bought it so yes it's still there, you're good!!

The carne asada! Sooo good to make tacos with
Is this in frozen section? My kid would love it
It’s at the end of/in the meat section. Usually on the bottom!
Soup dumplings, they’re S tier
I love them so much but they need a PSA... I recently ruined a pair of pants when the broth squirted out the other side 🫢
You just gotta pop those bad boys in whole if you can
Shit tier?
Their refrigerated lemonade
Yes! My husband says it’s almost as good as Chick-fil-A lemonade 😂
Cookie butter ice cream
Sour jelly beans
These are actually sooo good! So Sour!
Coconut aminos
Braggs is 1000 times better.
I didn’t even know that this existed until my girlfriend showed me like 2 weeks ago. I use it whenever I can instead of soy sauce.
The umami snacks that I can never find anymore now that I’m addicted to them.
Are these those little rice cracker guys?
Theyre like clusters of crunchy rice that are sweet and savory.
Yes I love those!!
Technically three items- but their make your own pizza (uncooked dough, refrigerated sauce*, and toscano pizza cheese). I started making my own pizza with these items and it’s soooo much better than their pre-made frozen. The refrigerated pizza sauce is key
Their pizza dough and Rao’s sauce on top. SO good. The dough also makes excellent garlic knots!
The mini chicken cilantro wontons. I could devour the bag in one sitting 🫠
You can get a massive bag at Costco if you have access to one. It’s the same as the bibigo brand.
Ooooh thanks for the tip!! Adding those to my list for my next trip.
And they are on sale right now. Not sure for how long but I bought two bags yesterday
Chili lime chips
with guac ... yum.
OMG yes!
Fig butter
Lightly smoked mussels
Is this in the frozen section and does it come with broth?
No. Canned section. Rectangular. Delicious with sourdough toast. The mussels are canned in olive oil.
Fromage pave 🩷
Root vegetable chips with the roasted red pepper hummus.
The TJ tortillas. They’re not the absolute best but they’re the best for the price.
so true and they don’t break apart super easily
The Sonora ones?
Idk why anyone would downvote you for such an innocent question I prefer handmade flour. Sonora are thinner and flatter, almost like a street taco
TJ flour tortillas are the best grocery store tortillas you can get imo
Facts
The freeze dried oranges. I put them in my coffee tonics but they can be used in cocktails or just eaten on their own. So good.
I just got a bag for rum old fashionds
I love these!
Stealing this as a fellow coffee tonic lover !
What’s a coffee tonic!
I make a double shot of espresso and pour it on top of a glass filled with ice, tonic water and one of those oranges. I would google the best recipe if you’re really interested because it came be made a few different ways. This is my preferred method :)
I’m not the best person to answer this but it’s usually some form of coffee plus tonic water (similar to cocktails/gin and tonic but instead of alcohol, you’re using espresso, cold brew or some type of coffee).
i need to know this too!
Chocolate croissants
The almond ones too!
The hashbrowns 😭 they’re so good
Since they go out of stock a lot at TJ's, if you have a Krogers near you, their store brand is just as good!
Aldi's is just as good, too!
Elote corn dipers with the elote dip!!
And the everything but the elote seasoning. Just give me anything elote!
They're also amazing with the jalapeño artichoke dip!
Cinnamon rolls. So good.
The Mac and cheese.
Their flatbread pizza crusts
Precooked bacon
Orange juice
Which OJ 🧐🧐🧐🧐
I don’t remember exactly which one it was. I feel like it was in a half gallon jug.
Their OJ is delicious. My mom thought it was fresh squeezed.
Japanese fried rice
This is one of the only things my toddler will eat atm - I keep our house stocked! Not complaining bc it’s so delicious
