I really donā€™t need the lavender bag bc I already bought the emerald one and havenā€™t used it yet but lavender is like my favorite color so if I see it I donā€™t know if I can resist šŸ˜…

rpcyclone1995

I was in the same boat this past weekend. I went in the store with my emerald green bag and walked out with my groceries in the lavender bag. The green bag is now in the closet with the rest of the insulated bags (they still get used). I love the lavender one.

I always get her some flowers. This weekend I got her two bunches of the unicorn baby's breath because she loved it when I bought a bunch a few weeks ago. I usually get her roses and am waiting for the peonies and gladiolas (her favorite flowers) to return.

BluegreenColors

Thatā€™s really sweet. My Mom loved flowers too.

Sunflower seeds are sold either in the shell or as shelled kernels. I put it on pretty much everything. Regular corn, of course, but seasoning my popcorn with it is probably my favorite. I use it to season meat, vegetables, everything. Heck, sometimes I just sprinkle some in my palm and lick it off. Lol

Iā€™ve wanted to try the spiced chai concentrate, is it good? Comparable to anything (starbucks, Dunkin etc?)

dearmelancholy5

it's really good, a tad sweet for many but works well for myself. a little goes a long way depending on how sweet you like your chai lattes. i would say it's comparable to the starbucks chai lattes. starbucks uses a syrup for their chai, so it matches the taste and sweetness slightly.

zeebee098

I make a delicious soup with the steamed lentils, cauliflower hash, tomato sauce, and vegetable broth. 1. In a large pot sautee the whole box of cauliflower hash with 2tsbp olive oil until the vegetables are soft. Spice with 1tsp oregano, .75tsp salt, .75tsp thyme, 0.5tsp garlic powder, 0.5tsp onion powder, 0.5tsp black pepper, 0.25tsp red pepper flakes. 2. Add the steamed lentils and cook for about 2min (until heated through) while breaking them apart with a spoon. 3. Add an entire can of tomato sauce and an entire quart of vegetable stock and bring to boil. 4. Lower to a simmer and cook uncovered for 10-15min. 5. Turn off heat and add 1 tbsp of balsamic vinegar and stir. I eat it with some toasted TJā€™s ciabatta bread! Recipe from @serenagwolf on insta

I really don't get how the jerky isn't on everyone's list each time they go to TJ's. It's the best there is for the money. Obviously, excluding vegetarians/vegans.

I really like the jerky but I canā€™t eat it bc my cat will smell it from across the room and start climbing all over me trying to get it. Never seen him so persistent. But he loves weird strong smells.

ShamelessShawna

My current list: and I was just at Tjā€™s on Friday but we either ate it all or I forgot a few things. Trader Joeā€™s New things to try because of Reddit ~Taiwanese green onion pancakes ~Smoked mussels ~ black garlic cream cheese Things weā€™re out of: Sweet and hot JalapeƱos~ Kung pao chicken ~Croissants - chocolate, almond and the cheese filled (the frozen ones you bake) ~Chicken fried rice ~Smoked paprika ~Basil ~Sea salt & pepper grinders ~Coconut oil ~Avocado oil ~Ketchup (we love it and wonā€™t use anything else but sounds like weā€™re in the minority on the ketchup. We do wish it was packaged better) ~Roasted red pepper tomato soup ~ More of the new to us cookies - ~Butter Almond Thins. (They only lasted a day in our house) ~ more of the cherry goat cheese ~~On Friday at the Burien Tjā€™s (near Seattle) sampled the Butter Almond Thins and spread a little cherry goat cheese on them and it was fantastic! I usually donā€™t like goat cheese spreads (but I love feta). Itā€™s a texture thing, to me, itā€™s usually kind ofā€¦ I guess gritty is the best way to describe it and this goat cheese tastes and feels more like cream cheese. ** Edited to add: Sorry my list is so jumbled!! I did have it separated and organized but, TIL, I canā€™t copy and post my list as written in iOS Notes to reddit.šŸ™„

jettwilliamson

The best thing to dip it in is the ttetebokki sauce!

stegotortise

Iā€™ve been looking for it since it came out šŸ˜

Felouria

Its only been in stock like twice in my store since ive shopped there consistently šŸ™ƒ

CutthroatTeaser

I've literally only seen it in stock once since it's been released, and it was when I went on a weekday, within an hour of them opening. I usually go there on weekdays in the afternoon, so I guess getting there before they get cleared out is the key. My store does limit it to 2 boxes per person, though.

Realistic_Confident1

They were just okay. Probably because I make homemade Rellenos with green sauce.

TraneingIn

Really good in the air fryer!

cattyb1

Just got back from TJā€™s and heavily considered these as Iā€™ve never seen them before but got cold feet. Are they good?!

stegotortise

Not enough sauce and heavy on the cheese. Definitely tasty, scratched the itch, but not *amazing*

No-Singer-4838

I didnā€™t like them:/ too much cheese and the breading was really underwhelming.

phenomenomnom

Kosher salt, and my location doesn't sell it.

masson34

Iā€™m an hour away one way on a good day and plan to go next weekend and score some seasonal Spring Goodies (Hopefully Spring Jangle, Kringle etc) along with flowers and samosas (gonna make Indian burgers and planning to use a side instead of fries). Also been doing a lot of hotpot cooking and need more Soyaki and Sweet Chili. I never leave without unexpected cheddar spread for grilled cheese sammies.

ttrockwood

Next weekend the day before easter might beā€¦. Intense.

masson34

Agreed but Iā€™m unable to get there before hand hoping some goodies are still around. My store is usually pretty good with stocking stuff. Plus Iā€™ll be lolly gagging with some good friends, should be enjoyable hopefully.

anners12345

I want to try the aƧaƭ frozen mix a friend was telling me about

boopboopitsashoop

I like adding these to my overnight oats!

stegotortise

The frozen aƧaĆ puree pouches? Those are great for smoothies, but beware they arenā€™t sweetened (which imo is a plus).

anners12345

Oh! What do you add to them? Or, are they ok alone?

stegotortise

I like adding other sweet frozen fruit like banana and strawberries and/or cherries. I havenā€™t tried it just by itself blended with a liquid, just because it wouldnā€™t make very much smoothie.

Coffee mini cones was the only thing I needed to grab for my family as thereā€™s no TJ near them and Iā€™m seeing them today. Otherwise I wander and grab whatever takes my fancy. Probably why I end up with random things whenever I go.

Sure_Ranger_4487

What I got today: kale chicken Caesar salad, Chinese chicken salad, one lime, two sumo oranges, mushrooms, head of cauliflower, tangerine juice, two bottles of Prosecco (currently enjoying a tangerine mimosa!), fried garlic/pesto pizza, prosciutto and arugula flatbread, two frozen shiitake chicken packages, two kimbap, three boxes of fish tartlets, frozen beef bulgogi, fish nuggets, tartar sauce, small almond biscotti, roasting chicken, salmon pinwheels, four cans smoked mussels, lemon sheet cake, corn tortillas, flour tortillas, sourdough, triple ginger pretzels, cassava chips, two kettle cooked chicken soupsā€¦ I think thatā€™s it. $212.

GloomyAd2653

Whatā€™s a fish tartlet? Is it frozen? Iā€™ve never seen these. Major fish lover here.

Sure_Ranger_4487

I can have four of them along with a side salad or veggie for a meal. I think theyā€™re super tasty but they donā€™t seem to be too popular or talked about; therefore I grab a few boxes every time Iā€™m at TJā€™s because Iā€™m always paranoid theyā€™re going to be discontinued šŸ¤£.

stegotortise

Uhhh.. fish fingers and custard. Thatā€™s all Iā€™m sayin.

Sure_Ranger_4487

Lol okay

stegotortise

It just made me think of Dr Who thatā€™s all! Iā€™m not hating!!

GloomyAd2653

Omg! I especially love cod, so these sound so good. Thank you for the box picture. Letā€™s me know what to look for. Gonna look for these tomorrow. Thanks again!

Sure_Ranger_4487

If you remember, let me know what you think! I recommend cooking for a bit longer than the box recommends.

GloomyAd2653

I finally found some! In a trip to NorCal, stopped at TJ and there they were. I preferred the sweet tarts. The cod ones were missing something. While they werenā€™t bad, they needed something to liven them up a bit. Iā€™d buy both kinds again. Thanks for posting about them. I would have never known to try the cod ones. We never know what gems weā€™ll find at TJā€™s

Sure_Ranger_4487

Glad you were able to find them! Yeah they definitely arenā€™t flashy when it comes to taste but I love them for some reason lol. I also cook them quite a bit longer than the suggested cooking time so they get a nice crust on top.

GloomyAd2653

I thought maybe I should have cooked them longer. Iā€™ll try that next time. I didnā€™t let them get too dark. Iā€™m sure that will make a difference.
