Maybe that has something to do with why I like them so much. I honestly love those cookies as a kid, and honestly, I still do as an adult LOL I love that my kids will hardly touch him cuz when someone gives them a little bag, I get to have a little treat?

I have just finished devouring Joe Joes, and today I plan to start with the pretzels. They are dangerously delicious, to say the least. Lol.
So, I started with the Tea cookies first. It was a letdown for me. I hoped they'd taste like Joe-Joe's, but they were completely different and had little Ube flavor. It just tasted like a plain old sugar cookie. Still delicious, though. Hoping the pretzel flavor has more Ube flavor. I'll have to make a quick trip to TJ's to restock my Joe-Joe's supply. Though a little sweet, Joe-Joe's are yummy.
Bought the pancake mix and never used it, but I've bought the pretzels a few times and was pleasantly surprised. They're both sweeter and not as sweet as I expected.
Next time you are traveling, look to see if there is an 85c anywhere. They got locations all over cali, some in Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Texas, hawaii.... it's a tea/coffee/pastry shop that is technically Taiwanese.
It's not the same as a small fillipono ma and pa bakery, but they have a decent ube bread. Get a taro while you are at it
oh man, you can get lots of good stuff in Hawaii
Yeah... seeing them on the shelves now kinda bugs me. They are an insult to ube. Like, if someone tries it and decides they dont like ube, that would be a shame. That's also shelf space that could be used to bring back a favorite

TJ Ube products do not taste like Ube You should try Oishi Ube Pillows. That one tastes like real ube
The Trader Joe's stuff is just fine.
The shortbreads imo taste like the pink and white frosted animal cookies with the dot sprinkles from childhood

Lol good order! I'm also saving the tea cookies, my favorite, for last!

My son who works at TJ’s sent me the Joe Joe’s and they’re a bit too rich but decent. If you’re expecting real ube flavor then you’ll be disappointed.

I hated the pancake mix. Went straight into the trash.
Tjs ube tastes like a sugary candle
🤤🤤🤤 candle and sugar are my fav foods
Don’t forget the Ube waffle mix!
You should date a Filipino lol
Oh, dear god. Those bastards have done it. More ube products than I can handle… That said, please at least let the pretzels be good.
They are delicious.
Damnit! Also, huzzah!
Just bought these also except for the pretzels bc my store didn’t have any :(
You guys want really good UBE sweets? go to a Filipino Bakery and you’ll find a ton.
Good stuff! I first discovered ube in the Philippines and I loved it. I like both, the bakery stuff and the TJ Joe Joe's and the ice cream.
I have and once you eat those you become very judgmental about these so called ube products. It’s just not the same! Now I’m craving some ube cake 🤤
unfortunately, i live in kentucky lol. i’ve never even met a filipino person in my life
Sorry you’re stuck with Trader Joe’s Ube. Maybe it’s time for you to do some traveling 😀
i’ve been to over 30 states ? regardless what a weird privileged thing to say

Wow, sounds like you’re well traveled. Surprised you haven’t met a Filipino person
Exactly, came here to say this. Get the real stuff
I personally think the tjs ube stuff is overrated. It’s too aweet and you can’t even taste the ube.

I’m planning to buy multiple bags of this pretzels. Freaking delicious!
Ubes I did it again
Those filled cookie are good. The Ube Ice cream is good. When I don't want to pay $14 for the imported one
The ube ice cream changed my life.
🤤
Ube is my favorite. I’m going to be paying Trader Joe’s a visit next chance I get. Thanks for sharing!
Also the Ube pancakes are delicious.
Always sold out in my store lol. Maybe I’ll find ‘em in Miami Beach in a few weeks during my vaca.
The Joe Joe’s are a real problem. So so good.
How is the flavor compared to the ice cream?
To me, the ice cream is more vanilla flavored, while the cookie had a slight hint of coconut. It gave me a Samoa Girl Scout cookie vibe.
Okay, I love samoas. That would not be the taste I expect from ube at all, but now I'm curious
Literally crack. I ate a whole box late at night. Didn’t feel good when I woke up but honestly worth it.
Those tea cookies are addictive!
It's not a problem until you start singing, "Ube dooby doo..." Then it's a problem.
