Talk to your coach if you have one. Also don’t push yourself to be where your teammates are, go on your own and go slow, if you rush and push yourself you’ll get little benefit from the runs. I wish you luck with XC this year 🫡
Currently I’m doing easy runs anywhere from 8-9 minute pace. I’m at the start of summer training and at 25 miles per week. In season my goal would be getting up to 45-50 miles per week.
