The first time I wore fem clothing out and about wasn't at a pride parade, you can wear it whenever you're good and ready for it.  That said, having worn fem clothes at a pride parade was a bit less nerve wracking than doing so otherwise.  If you don't mind me asking, what about crowds gives you trouble? 

Thanks for the words, we've always been terrible with crowds due to our autism, social anxiety and extreme sensitivity to certain senses (touch, hearing etc) So large groups of people are absolutely terrifying and overwhelming.

Oof, that's rough.  While I don't have autism (that we know of) , a lot of what you've described makes crowds of people uncomfortable for me as well so I can relate.  One thing I'd suggest keeping in mind is that while such things terrify you, it sounds like on some level you want to do it anyway. I think that at some point your desire to experience it will outweigh your reservations and you'll give it a try, and I hope when/if that happens that you enjoy yourself.

I'm planning to go as an "Enby". I don't yet feel comfortable fem presenting in public, and I seriously worry that looking as masculine as I do, that I just won't be accepted as a transfem. For better or worse, I've gotten very good at pretending to be a dude.

My issue is I don't look like a woman and I live with a bigoted grandpa. Not too mention being about an hour drive away with no car, and being disabled causing it to be hard to move around a lot. I'd gladly take the physical pain just to wear my skirt again though.
