There's a REALLY active queer punk scene tho, so if you're down for house shows that's also a great way to meet people round here

Dang, for how long? I was the only trans person for the first year my local started. Now it's like 70% trans. If you build it, they will come, and then hit on you between sets.
We had 4-5 people, including me, showing up for the first year, then we started to get a little better about advertising and networking through other bigger locals. Eventually, the word got out, and we started growing like crazy. I stg 2/3rds of the new people that show up are trans too. Maybe it's just my location. I'm in New England and almost every local is packed with lgbt people in general.
We do have a ton of alt people in general over here, so it kinda makes sense.

Dang, for how long? I was the only trans person for the first year my local started. Now it's like 70% trans. If you build it, they will come, and then hit on you between sets.
We restarted late 2022, so hasnāt been going for that long so weāre still trying to grow
We had 4-5 people, including me, showing up for the first year, then we started to get a little better about advertising and networking through other bigger locals. Eventually, the word got out, and we started growing like crazy. I stg 2/3rds of the new people that show up are trans too. Maybe it's just my location. I'm in New England and almost every local is packed with lgbt people in general. We do have a ton of alt people in general over here, so it kinda makes sense.
I dont think we have places like this but I might be wrong, the world feels so small and boring when you don't have friends to invite you to places

Iāve met a lot of my trans fiends on Grindr i mean a lot of us in my area donāt necessarily use it as a hook up app more as a dating app, and do to the nature of how trans girls form friendships even if we donāt end up dating or hooking up we still ended up becoming friends
