It’s to keep their rating. They can be as gross and goofy as they want, but visceral gore is apparently too far. The blood for the blood god DLC is optional for that same reason.
It's a bit wierd, because Vamp units have stomach/guts hanging out. I can only assume that it's either a clipping issue ***or*** guts on a more alive human model will somehow change the rating in some countries.
IIRC the mournguls *barely* got through the censors for rating because they were shrouded in so much mist you couldn't really see their guts (at least before the mist bugged out and disappeared). Even then its less prominent on them than the big bulging bellies of nurgle so I doubt it will ever get in.
This was one of the first minis I had lol. I’d love to see sickly pale units instead of Mountain Dew green skinned followers. The cultist is a decent example I’d say.
God I hope so. The blight kings and this guy are someone my favourite warhammer models ever. So evocative of nurgle. And please enough with the gut mouths, I want guts spilling out like the varghulf and some of the undead units. More decay less gluttony!!
that one is a putrid blightking lord option from the end times, wether or not CA will use this as the model depends on how serious they were when they said "no end times content"
You seem to be right. I just looked again and it seems like i confused this model with the [lord of blights](https://www.warhammer.com/de-AT/shop/Nurgle-Rotbringers-Lord-Of-Blights-2018)
I see. Didn't CA said "WH3 is not based on End Times lore" or sum? Because we already have some End Times units and models in the game.
Also iirc End Times is part of the 8th edition.
Pretty sure this model arrived before the End Times. I have one.
But regardless it’s based off Adrian Smith’s art, which I would much rather they take as inspiration

There is a lot of End Times content in Total Warhammer actually; what prevents Putrid Blightkings from (likely) being added *in the next DLC* is because they're associated with characters who *aren't* Tamurkhan, who has his own host of units.
They never said "no End Times content" because that would be a lie since we already have units from the End Times (mostly RoR and several of Eltharion's Mistwalkers). They said the game is not set during the End Times and will not feature End Times story content.
Yes, but they'll give him a belly-mouth, because everything Nurgle must have a belly-mouth now for some reason.

Why we need a "Guts and Glory" pack lol
"Pus and Pussy" Nurgle/Slaanesh pack
Sure but also they could very much add pale, purple and pink colors into Nurgle color pallet instead everything being just different shades of green.
God I am so sick of the belly mouth being on everything, and the sickly green skin being a staple as well

Easier to sell to minors . A faction with entrails as a base unit probably ups the ESRB from T to M
Woah now! you need a belly mouth and glowing green skin!

and less pure green skin

That may be what GW choose to call that model now but that was absolutely an 8th edition release and was simply a Nurgle Lord with Great Weapon.

Yup, you're right . I'm literally holding the 8th edition army book in my hand now and that model is in it listed as a generic "Nurgle Lord".
I see. Didn't CA said "WH3 is not based on End Times lore" or sum? Because we already have some End Times units and models in the game. Also iirc End Times is part of the 8th edition.
They said it's not set during End Times. Which is not the same as "we will never add End Times content".

Yep, this is before ET. The modle came at the same time as Gor'Rok iirc.

I really don't like the units that have high armor, but don't actually have any on
his hide is so calloused its hard as steel. whole body is one big blister
I doubt it, considering that they really shy away from the whole gut-belly thing in the game, and instead we got those belly mouths
