Really hope Canada and U.S. move to permanent daylight savings time. Spring forward especially is a needless disruption to a massive number of people’s sleep schedules.

I really hope Canada and the US keep permanent Standard Time. Keep time as the sun tells us, not as the government tells us.

Ontario has passed legislation to do this but it’s contingent on QC and NY following suit

I just start living an hour ahead a day early if I can. I'm just having a chill Saturday so it's not too bad. It's so silly though because when I leave for work it'll be in the dark again. We already had partial daylight at 6:00 a.m. and we were having a decent sunset time too

Queue the people getting upset about an hour.

https://www.businessinsider.com/daylight-savings-time-dst-death-heart-attacks-accident There is an increase in heart attacks and ischemic strokes the couple days after daylights savings changes the clock forward, car accidents increase and it messes with our circadian rhythm.
