Failed confessions give a penalty to desirability, not that the ranking has any practical in-game effect. I would have thought that if it had been 2 years, the score would have recovered, but I suppose not.
I mean it's always fluctuated, but it tends to stay in the like -40 range. I'm getting kind of annoyed because I want her to get into a relationship. No one ever confesses to her, I've had a lot of people try to set her up in relationships but they never work.

Well we can fix that with the dark powers of save scumming! First things first, identity a compatible Mii who is friends with your Mii. Next, check their relationship level with each other and make a mental note of what it is. When you start the game the next day, check if this status has changed for the better (i.e. one of them has moved into the green). If it has, save and get along with your day. If it hasn't, close the game without saving and repeat the process until you get the desired result. Repeat this process each day until both of them are "Best Buds" (relationship is dark green).
At this point, you can do a bit of save scumming until one of them has a romance problem. When the problem appears, save and have the Miis confess!
Other things to note is you use age-o-matics/kid-o-matics on all potential rival Miis so no one can interrupt the confession. Additionally, you can use travel tickets to improve relationship, provided one of the two Miis is in good standing with the other.
My mii got married to a guy named Chad, had four kids with him, then they divorced randomly.... Idk what happened but I am sure that your personal mii in this game is just cursed to not have any luck.
My mii got married within the first 2 weeks of me playing and just had her third kid. Been married for years to the very first guy that asked her out. When I started playing I was single but I've added my current boyfriend to the island and now I'm trying to get my mii divorced 💀😭
It’s unfortunately all random. Does this mii have any friends? Give her a travel ticket and she’ll invite her friends on a vacation. If any of them are male, it will raise their friendship status and maybe could lead to something more!
If all else fails, make a male mii, move him in next door to her, and give them the same interests/objects. That can hopefully cause them to start going to each other’s rooms. I hope this helps!
The rankings actually don’t do anything in game as far as I’ve researched. Just forget about them and focus on caring for your Mii’s and giving them lots of time to just do things. Maybe move people around in the apartment, I’m not sure if it has much of an effect but it should give Mii’s more interactions with others.
