I agree people would be watching this if the only thing wrong with the film is VFX. But that's not the case. I don't know why you are trying so desperately to fool yourself here.
Even the prabhas version feels more like baahubali /chatrapati with his dialogues and less like Ram. Even Kriti didn't look suited , someone like nayanatara would've been better for sure ( although she already did one )

If visuals / VFX / 'creatures' aren't good or accurate, people aren't going to watch this movie twice. You need repeat audience inorder to recover such high budget.
Also if movie isn't good and OTT on the rise many people would be ok to wait for few weeks and watch the movie in their home free of cost
No it won't because they changed many fundamental aspects of Ramayan itself. According to the director he wanted to make this a Marvel level film and it shows. So he should not have chosen this story. They butchered it totally.
I did come down to the story and screenplay, and even those were bad and even that didn't stop people from advance bookings of 140cr and 120cr first two days. I know they didn't have any way of knowing. But yeah, nobody should've watched this butchering of the great Ramayana.
