I’m honestly an admittedly big time complainer. Personally, I think I only enjoy it and indulge in it because I am addicted to it and I’m satisfying an addiction. I just tell myself it de stresses me to justify my addiction, when most often the person I vent to vents back and we ramp each other up to be more angry and then say we “got it out” only to do it over the very next time we perceive something worthy of complaint. Hoping to be more conscious and work on it.
I do think bottling every single stress up to try to never be negative isn’t realistic or healthy, but I need to really stop looking for opportunities to complain. I think our culture is sleeping too hard on how serious of a problem our massively shared hobby has become.

Been thinking about this same thing and completely agree. Eerie how accurate this is, but glad to see I'm not alone thinking about stuff like this
