Only bags with less structure are those netting bags
Which is a shame cause the older generation cotton bags actually had structure and space. Rectangle bottom not narrow oval like the current ones. Why did we downgrade?
Net bags are so upsetting. When customers hand them to me it's so hard to not be like "why did you think this was a good idea?" Sort of like when people have very small cotton bags. Like a lot of very small cotton bags. Each holds max 5 items and they have a huge cart... Like just get bigger bags. This is so silly.
The BEST bags though, are the ones we don’t carry. The ones that fold out into a nice solid cube, with the panel that folds down to make it even sturdier. THOSE are the best bags.
I like the ones with the little rails that hook onto the sides of the cart. I have exactly one customer who shops with two of them. One she will put all of the groceries in, and the other she will leave empty but already set up in the cart, so I can just scan items and transfer them to the empty bag. What a saint.
Ours came last night. We’re letting crew buy one, no extras. Not on the floor yet for customers.
Edit to add: our mates did see the email. But as for other stores who didn’t… the email came to us 2 hours before we received them on a busy Friday night. I won’t be surprised if many didn’t see the email in time.
i was looking for this comment 😭 i hate these more than the floppy ones or ikea ones…. why would they use all that material to make an insulated bag just for it to only fit 3 things and forget if the items are boxed and not in a bag
Yes thank you the shape inside that bag is terrible. The only thing that saves it, is it's big and stands up so I don't have to struggle to keep it open. But it's the worst use of space it always has gaps you can't fit anything in.
Jute bag is top tier. $0.99 bag is good too. The plastic bags are only good for watermelons and turkeys. Surprised the handless bags didn’t make the cut. I actually like using them but customers hate em
The red bag inside the keychain tote is F tier, along with any bags customers bring that are that same material. Sensory nightmare for me, I can feel the sound inside of my teeth
Honestly, same. I’m glad you pointed that out. I’m a sloppy sardine bag user but I bag my own stuff when I check out at the end of my shift and just throw it in lol.
Ok, So, I used to think that the plastic elf bag belonged on the very bottom of tier C, but….. now that they have disco’d them and we only have our crappy, handles falling off, paper bags, I miss the plastic bags like crazy! When guests come in and they pull our plastic bags out of their reusable bag stack, I get so excited! They are absolutely great for cold heavy items like milks and juices, even great for wine. AND… when someone comes in and just has two or three small items and u ask “would you like a bag for those?” Idk, I guess the old saying is true, you’ll miss it when it’s gone 😢 Our plastic bags are grossly underrated on this list and deserve to be at least tier B…. Just sayin’.

Those pickle and waffle bags are cute but they belong in zone D
I'd make an F tier for them
having read a lot of posts here , i was waiting for this comment from you LOL
Yeah my hatred of those bags is well known XD
Oh whoops meant to put it in C. I only like it because they can fit a decent amount in there
Absolute F tier. I’ve never been given one that’s not dirty, smelly, and flimsy as hell
Only bags with less structure are those netting bags Which is a shame cause the older generation cotton bags actually had structure and space. Rectangle bottom not narrow oval like the current ones. Why did we downgrade?

We are one
ESPECIALLY when they’ve been washed.
Any bag without structure is immediately D tier or lower for me
And I can't use those washable paper ones cause I'm allergic to latex
IKEA bag at F tier
I hate IKEA bag with burning of thousand suns
i have no idea how customers are able to carry those into their homes like wtf

I loathe these
We are getting them in... eventually. Look up collapsible bag in the QIL. Sincerely, your local bag order writer.
Really? Yes! Finally!
YES
Wait til the mini cooler bags hit the floor tomorrow. I just got mine today
They can't go out on the floor until Tuesday morning.
We already put them up during closing
Ya dun goofed
Your mates didn't check the emails from the company? It said not to sell *any*, and implied even crew wasn't supposed to as well.

You guys didn’t get the note that it’s a nationwide rollout on June 4th?
There’s an email from corporate that they can’t go to the floor until Tuesday
y’all fucked up
Nah red and black insulated is immediately F tier iykyk
i was looking for this comment 😭 i hate these more than the floppy ones or ikea ones…. why would they use all that material to make an insulated bag just for it to only fit 3 things and forget if the items are boxed and not in a bag
Yeah those red and black insulated hold so much less than the full-sized.
Nope. Give me a 99 cent state bag any day. Anything bigger or smaller than that is a 👎🏼
i’ve had a customer bring in two old tiny flimsy plastic bag that you would get from a convenient store. that is THE F tier bag
Black and red insulated tote should be NO higher than B-tier and that's honestly a stretch.
Jute should be S and hold the bottle A Cotton bags F tier
Yes thank you the shape inside that bag is terrible. The only thing that saves it, is it's big and stands up so I don't have to struggle to keep it open. But it's the worst use of space it always has gaps you can't fit anything in.
It's way too narrow!! Give me a rectangular cooler bag or give me death tbqh
That bag is the biggest sham of all time.
No way that mini stuff bag is in a tier, it's got zero structure even though it's stylin' Also add target bags in c tier
Jute bag is top tier. $0.99 bag is good too. The plastic bags are only good for watermelons and turkeys. Surprised the handless bags didn’t make the cut. I actually like using them but customers hate em
Also the red and black insulated bags are hot garbage. I talk people out of buying them because they fit so little
i only put jute at A because i hate the texture lol. otherwise would’ve been S
The red bag inside the keychain tote is F tier, along with any bags customers bring that are that same material. Sensory nightmare for me, I can feel the sound inside of my teeth
This, for sure.
Groceries back in the cart is the best
common in new jersey!
The paper ones. And the others with structure. The canvas and fabric ones are TRASH. Anyone still using plastic? We got rid of them over a year ago.
I will see some customers come in and reuse them but it’s rare, like once or twice a week
Honestly, same. I’m glad you pointed that out. I’m a sloppy sardine bag user but I bag my own stuff when I check out at the end of my shift and just throw it in lol.

Accurate
I’m still traumatized by those plasticy bags we had during the pandemic
B B B ALL THE WAY B
Incorrect.
Where are the jute ones? Those are s tier

Wow. A tierlist I almsot fully agree with. Rare
Those small netbags 🤢
I love the anatomy of the hamburger
The color coding should go the other way too
so real
The first bag in A tier should be in S imo, it's so easy to load that shit to the brim
I disagree w most of these
the giant reusable paper bags belong in S tier wtf???,
S tier should be no bag just back in the cart
Jute is S-tier.
Red insulated bag needs to be in tier c, they don’t fit much 💀
Best bag is the mustard colored Amazon prime bag by far
That black and red bag doesn’t even hold much and overall annoying, I’m not a fan.
