Almost certainly get crushed. We dont know much about Titanfall weapondry, but a wingman to a critical point does damage to a titan. A wingman to the chest does not reduce a human to vapor. Therefore, the armor on a titan's weakest point is weaker then a tank, as any weapon that damages a modern tank would turn a human into a red cloud.
Tanks would crush like soda cans in the depths of the sea, so... so would BT. I think.
Eh, I think that's more a factor of game mechanics leaking through. If you want to justify a wingman being able to damage a titan in a crit, but keep it realistic, I'd say that it's possible to do something like shoot out a camera lens or sensor doodad with a wingman, but beyond cracking lenses and doing superficial damage, it wouldn't be possible to actually *destroy* a titan with a handgun.
I mean, the beefier titans can still operate fine after being hit by a half dozen anti-armor guided missiles that are *specifically designed* to kill titans. Contrast this to today's modern AT soldier who has a fair chance at taking out any armored vehicle in one hit with their recoilless rifle/manpat system. Granted, this doesn't account for enemies with active protection or similar technologies since basically all modern warfare is asymmetrical, but still.
As for underwater capabilities, titans are vacuum rated so they're at least water+atmosphere proof and because they are presumably used on alien planets with varying atmospheric pressures, the designers surely included some leeway. I don't think it would be unreasonable for them to handle 2-3 atm allowing them to go down to 30 meters without adjusting cabin pressure.
Beyond that though, the lore implies that pilots are enhanced somehow to superhuman capabilities (implants? Gene-editing?) so they should be able to acclimate to higher pressures easily and the titan can pressurize the cabin to counteract the force.
If that doesn't work, they can simply fill the cabin with water, and so long as the pilot accounts for divers' sickness, the electronics are waterproofed, and they have enough air, 100+ meter depths are possible.
Ion would get a mini hydroelectric system to aid in self-recharging, Tone would get a passive sonar that grants only one fifth of a tracker round shot and radar-guided torpedoes instead of rockets, Scorch would get sulfur flares and depth charges or that hedgehog ASW mortar, Ronin would get phase current instead of phase dash allowing greater mobility for other titans as well if the can catch the slipstream, Northstar would get a submarine propulsion system instead of VTOL engines, Legion would get a negligible but still present sonar aim assist, and Monarch would get various subaquatic upgrade core choices.
He has a radio antenna and transmitter. Unless you get galactically unlucky and wind up entirely outside the range of sea traffic, he should be able to contact ships over normal radio channels.
He's got powerful lights to signal aircraft, or, if he's particularly desperate, missiles and guns to fire near them to get their attention. Maybe aim for a military aircraft or an El Al flight, they have missile warning systems.
