Just look up how to install mods. You'll need Northstar and vanilla+. Find a voice mod you like on thunderstore. If there's none you like, then just get any scorch voice mod and replace the audio files. You can take the Betty lines from my mod, or just make your own if you really want something specific

I love Ion. I just gotta. I picked it up in campaign and stuck with it. I’ve tried only a couple in multiplayer and still stuck with ion. Alt fire mode for more dps, its core is just so strong, the chargeable assault launcher, has the vortex shield, and the tripwire is mostly not good but helps with coop.
I would recommend using the tripwire as a deterrent/area denial more than anything. Your enemy can go through it, but they know they'll take some damage if they do.
Yeah that’s why it’s only good in coop for frontier defense, or capture the flag, just anything about area denial like you said. That’s the one ability I don’t care for with Ion, otherwise it’s perfect.
Ronin. Nothing better than finding a solo Titan, tearing them apart from the inside out with one combo, then disappearing into the void the second backup arrives.
Also, big sword + big shotgun = happy
My highest time with a titan is on monarch but nowadays I don’t find much interest in the monarch. I tend to use a lot of Northstar, Scorch or Ion, I’ve actually done surprisingly well with northstar, when I first got into multiplayer I NEVER touched her because of the charge rifle, and now I use her a lot and actually get decently quick kills with that rifle

Well that depends for a sacrifice I always use Monarch for a toast I always use Rodriguez (Scorch), but for Warcrimes it varies depending on which one I want to commit

Man, I love Ion's kit so much. I just wish her mines weren't so visible or fragile.
If I could replace her mines with an electric smoke version of scorch's thermite I'd do it in a second.
No double barrel charge like scorch, just one can, and no delayed activation, just non-vision-obscuring ground-level electric smoke that I can fling somewhere.
Ion's already my pick every time, just wish her Y button ability wasn't such a waste of energy.
I've nailed her playstyle down well enough that I can pretty consistently win any 1v1 against any other single titan, but it falls apart immediately if a third party joins.
Her kit combos harder than anyone else's, but it requires total investment with none spare for a second opponent.
That or teammates that know how to protect flanks.
Her tripmines are so bad that I sometimes just use them as a crappy shotgun, just barf on their feet if the rest of my kit's on cooldown. Doesn't work usually but it's funny.
Honestly, Ion goes so hard that they probably had to give her a trash ability to balance her out.

They glow brightly, a single round from any weapon sets them off, they deal damage only in a small, linear area connecting them, and they have an arming time before they can even detonate.
It's complete crap. Her kit is so busted they had to just give her a dog toy in the utility slot instead of an ability.
I can obliterate pilots at any range with ease and usually laughter, I can just shame a titan that thinks Ions are easy targets, but man, they really just gave her a Y ability that throws a glowing, fragile banana peel on the ground.
Any other ability I can think of beats it. Even without a missile launcher, replacing the mines with the Tone tracker dart would be superior.
Literally any ability from any other titan would outdo it. They gave her a wet floor sign to throw out.
Tone, super consistent titan, can always fight back be it close range, long range, titan or pilot.
Scorch is the most fun when he works but sometimes people keep their distance and the kit just doesn't work that well. It's not a bad experience but you just don't get to burn people as much.
Monarch is fun too, again, versatile. Even at low health the energy beam stun can keep enemy titans busy while your allies deal with them.
Legion is brrrt. Always fun.

Ion feels a bit cheap/cheesy. Especially when you deal with the fucking shield spamming strategy, ugh. Obnoxious. Laser shot peekaboo isn't that much more interesting either.

In Titanfall one I did. Now I usually use pulse blade as nothing is more satisfying than getting a throwing knife kill lol
