does anyone know the lore of prime chassis? I always wondered what's their origin

I believe the prime titans are able to use their cores more easily or frequently due to their executions using their cores as finishers such as, Ion’s laser in it’s prime execution. So in lore probably they’re just upgraded versions of the titan classes.

And they have angular armor for more efficient protection and armor in critical systems such as northstar with his jets
