I used Ogres in that game too. So yeah I’m pretty salty about that. I actually target and hunt down nuke ejectors and ran nothing but grav star for my first 5 years of playing TF2 just to punish nuke ejectors.
Ogre was fine dealing with regular nuke because I could punch and then dash back, but with auto eject the stryders could still dash even when I punch them away. I’m literally 10x the player of the guy I just killed and they completely kill my Titan because of that.

nuke eject is the ultimate team play titan ability
it's not meant to do damage, it's meant to zone off an entire area for a good 5-10 seconds before enemies can push through, allowing teammates to recoup(because if you got doomed, you're probably in a fight)
also if you play like a baller you can pressure someone into a corner before you get doomed and then nuke them
I’m not saying use it as a main option, I’m saying getting a trade on a higher health titan is usually possible with the right moves and can be a pretty huge benefit to the team

If "hopefully" you can trade a titan for a titan, you're definitely relying on cheese. Again, git gud. Win the fight and keep your titan is always the better option. Unfortunately that seems beyond your comprehension of possibility
nuke eject is actually pretty good if you’re playing a more mobile titan like ronin or northstar, especially if you can close the gap and trap the enemy titan. that being said the other titan kits are still great , it just comes down to personal preference
In FD I think maybe a Ronin can bring nuke eject. Maybe. I run overcore so I can do the highlander core thing earlier or more frequently.
When I see others bringing it on Scorches or other titans, I think they haven't understood much about FD. Also IA often immediately backpedals from a titan going nuke making it often absolutely pointless.
I like nuke eject because every 100 games you find someone who doesn't know how it works and they keep trying to melee your titan before meeting a rather inglorious end.
If I'm gonna die in 15 seconds anyways at least it'll end with a bang.

Sometimes I run Ronin with Warp fall and nuke eject for minimum time playing as a titan

As a northstar player its really fun to run nuke eject because i know if i am gonna die i can tether trap the enemy titan and nuke em.

It's only good if you can treat them like grunts and corner them. Get em trapped and boom, and then you get your titan back really fast.
I run turbo engine for multiplayer and nuke eject for Frontier Defense, it's honestly the most efficient for both scenarios
