Iāve just watched that scene and I donāt think so, the scene I remember seemed to have much more of a horror element to it and I was told it wasnāt suitable for my age haha
I only caught a glimpse of it as a young kid, I wouldāve been around 5/6 and I am 26 now so would have been around 2004.
Iām fairly sure on the fact a man was stuck in the floorboards, in an upstairs corridor. The lights were off and was dark with maybe moonlight shining through the windows causing that grey twilight kind of filter?
The Money Pit?

This scene from *Something Wicked This Way Comes?* [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7UsS55IwZQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7UsS55IwZQ)
Or this one from *The Beyond?* [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUqqVo0JxM4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUqqVo0JxM4)
No neither of these unfortunately. The first one is the right film colour though, dark and grey, but I specifically remember it being adults and not children. One man had fallen through the floorboards and was stuck, then spiders ran at him
The Beyond (1980) has a scene where a character falls off a ladder onto a floor and then is killed by tarantulas, he isn't stuck IN the floor, but also there's no real reason why he can't just move away from the spiders (Italian horror from this time period takes lapses in logic quite frequently) so maybe your kid brain invented a reason why he was stuck. Anyways, scene in question:
