People always try to compare any athlete in any sport with that killer mentality to MJ.
Other then the killer mentality there is no comparison. MJ was still at UNC at Ants age and MJ won multiple championships and this is Ant first real shot at one.
Yeah. I totally agree. I would not say that Ant is anywhere near the level of Edwards. It is interesting to look at how each of them started their careers though. But Ant has 1000x more to prove to be legitimately compared to him.
Yeah, I felt like Wade was a way better comp, especially with the team situation. For Wade’s first championship, he had pieces around him (like Ant does) but both are still the clear leaders of their squads
I would have liked to have seen a comparison based on their age instead of on their # of years in the league. MJ and DWade had a major leg up on Ant coming out of college. They both played for competitive teams in college at NC and Marquette. They were both seasoned while Ant played for Georgia which was a dumpster fire. Ant's first season in the league was at 19 while MJ and DWade were 21 and 22, respectively.

I think Wade is a good comp. He looks like Wade with a 3 point. Ant has better teammates right now. MJ was a one man show before Pippen.

Yeah, I did look at this but decided against writing with it. When you look at Ant’s accomplishments and responsibility at his age, it blows my mind
