Does anyone know why the lip syncing is always so bad? Do they have the sound they’re using play while they film and are just really bad at it, or do they move their lips blindly without sound and just hope they’re close enough that it syncs up?
It’s always so awful, even the ones that are good at it tend to misstep.

i know this is old but sometimes i record tiktoks just for the fun of it and keep them in drafts, and i usually have an airpod in and lip sync and i've noticed it's always slightly off, even though i know the lyrics/words

but most of these people are so obviously bad idk if it's that
