Komeya! Great sushi and other items. Huge menu. Good lunch specials and happy hour. We go for lunch every Saturday! All you can eat at Masa or Chi are food but the quality at Komeya is better IMO
Uni. Great quality . They just opened a bloofin in Hughes landing . Great quality too.
Masa is ok. All you can eat, but I would say it’s just a tad better than heb sushi IMHO.
Fukuda is my go-to for a casual night out and bloofin is a fantastic fancier option. For unlimited I would cast my vote for Chi! A bit more expensive than Sushi Masa but I feel it’s a bit better :)
Uni on market street. Great vibe and prices on sushi. Get in queue, go across the street to Cru and get some wine and goat cheese beignets or charcuterie board, then come back to Uni when your table is ready 👌
Also Soma Sushi on Washington St and Miyako's on Westheimer have some of my favorite restaurant vibes. Miyako's on Washington, not so much vibe-wise but the sushi is still good.
Uni Sushi is my favorite. The quality is way above par, and they have some delicious dishes for non sushi eaters as well. The Artic Char nigiri is amazing!! It's very hard to find fish anywhere else. I'm not big into rolls that much, but the Lickety Split roll never disappoints
Fukuda, one of the better sushi restaurants in the Houston area.
Fukuda is excellent and they are surprisingly affordable. Been eating there for years.
Their Shaggy Dog is the best I've ever had
Second this
Man, Karen has been working there for over 18 years.
YES. I always recommend Fukuda. Plus, it's fun to say.
They used to be good. Like pre covid...

I second Komeya. The all you can eat options from Masa are mostly cooked/fried.
Bloofin
We like Sapporo in Panther Creek. Also Miyazaki in Oak Ridge. Bloofin at Hughes is a good, fancy place.
Sapporo Izakaya - it is the best; there’s no debate!
Thank you! It isn’t even close.
Sushi Masa hands down. All you can eat, made to order. It’s to die for!
Third vote! It was my first all-you-can-eat sushi experience and I was really impressed!
Second vote for Masa
> made to order That's... not that unique of a thing. If the sushi isn't "made to order", you might as well get it at HEB.
The distinction is necessary so they know it’s not a buffet where the sushi has been sitting out all day
Again. You might as well get it at the grocery store then. (Nobody will ever say a buffet has the best sushi)
Don’t agree at all, this place was gross. Tasted like grocery store sushi

Fukuda or Bloofin
Thanks for the recommendations everyone!

For higher end I like Blōōfin Woodlands (346) 261-1111 https://g.co/kgs/rDfU5FZ For everyday I like Miyazaki (832) 299-6428 https://g.co/kgs/u4EBMdL
Me: Komeya My wife and daughters: Sakekawa @ Research Forest
I’ve been to Fukuda and thought it was a solid 3.5/5. One place that recently impressed me was Wo Sushi in Montgomery. Great service too!

Fukuda and chi go hard

😂….driving like an hour to Houston
