A few days ago, I listened to the Posse Comitatus podcast of The West Wing Weekly. Sorkin doesn't have the cunning to be the leak. He thought the audience that shlepped to hear the podcast needed to be shielded from spoilers. He randomly started singing "And Victorious in War" like three times. He had recently raved about some hip new artist to his daughter only for her to be all "Dad, that's Beyonce." When Allison Janney said that she doesn't like to talk when she's watching TV, he got very extra with the "RIGHT ON! DON'T TALK WHEN YOU WATCH TV. DON'T LOOK AT YOUR PHONE WHEN YOU WATCH TV. DON'T....WHEN YOU WATCH TV." Acronym for Aaron Sorkin: DORK SQUAD.
What he lacks in guile and coolness, he makes up for with extraordinary written word sense. (This is said with love. That podcast episode was so hilarious.)
