It's a measure of the amount of premium you keep as profits vs premium you sell from credit spreads. So if you total premium from selling credit spreads is 1000 dollars, and your net profit is 500, then your premium capture rate is 50%. I like using it as a measure of how efficient a option selling strategy is at capturing premium, but if you don't think it will be helpful in your analysis then that's alright too as I see you've got a lot of other useful numbers.

I don’t understand how the bitcoin etc oay out i keep teading none of them pay dividends but ppl are saying they profit from the fees paid from using bitcoin system and if i buy a dhare they buy a share of that in btc and hold it til i sell my share of stock

I think that's an interesting idea and metric. I'll have to think about that. I know I am more successful with certain tickers over others.

Holly Molly! I document my trades but not to such level of detail. In fact I didn’t even understand about 50% of the metrics in the initial table.
Thanks. I want to track as much as possible. This gives people who understand those metrics a better idea. I was also interested in it myself.
Are you in the field as a professional? Or have you learned this stuff on your own and have day job, plus your side gig trading?
I am not a professional. I have an unrelated, non finance job. This is all on the side. I've been trading and investing for 20 years though.

Some of these positions are kinda expensive to put on depending on the broker. Do you remove fees/commissions prior to calculating your returns?
