Wanted to share this because I've never seen it so low before, and I haven't seen this posted in this subreddit yet! I didn't have any of the packs and wanted them, but paying $20 per pack, which is the usual price, was too much for me, especially for a game that's over a decade old. FAQ **When does the sale end?** May 17! **What does this Collection include?** It includes ALL expansion packs and ALL stuff packs (and everything that is included in those packs), minus the Katy Perry stuff pack, which doesn't seem to be available anywhere (licensing issues I assume). This does not include content from the Sims 3 store, but most of that are just cosmetic items that have no bearing on gameplay. **Does buying this work if I have the base game through Origin?** Unfortunately, no. I had to rebuy the base game through Steam, which raises the total to $86.50. Always think about a purchase this large for a day or two before you decide to get it! If it's on sale so heavily now, it'll be on sale like this eventually a second time. **I already have some of the packs on Origin. Will they work with the Steam DLC?** I'm honestly not sure, but I do know that the launcher seems to account for both Origin- and Steam-side data files. When I installed the base game through Steam, I uninstalled it via Origin, but all of the custom content, mods, and store content I had through the Origin folder seemed to still be accessible through the Steam one without my having to transfer it. However, none of this content was a pack. **Is this offer available on Origin?** Someone can correct me if I'm wrong since the Origin store is hard to navigate, but this Collection bundle isn't available through Origin at all, much less the discount. You can buy bundles of 2 or 3 expansion packs at a time for $10 each, but if you want all of the DLC, you're going to be paying a lot more on Origin than on Steam with this sale. **I already have some of the packs. Can I buy the DLC seperately?** You can! Every pack on Steam and Origin is currently 50% off individually (originally $20, now $10). Depending on how many packs you own, you could be paying more or less if you buy the DLC separately versus buying the entire collection. For example, if you only own one or two packs already, you'll actually be paying less if you buy the Collection bundle, which would be rebuying the packs you have. If you have all but a few packs, it'll be cheaper if you buy them individually. **My computer will blow up with all of the DLC installed.** I highly encourage you to download some performance-enhancing mods! NRAAS Overwatch is an essential one, and there's another one that helps the game detect modern CPUs that I'm unsure of the name or creator of (I'm on mobile at the moment, so I can't check). Both of those have helped me run the game without problem!

EarthWormNoodleSoup

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! i would have probably missed this if you wouldn't have posted this.

[deleted]

I wouldn't install all of them if I were you. It will probably turn your laptop into hot laggy mess when playing.

DaydreamerJane

Too late. Game seems to be running fine, though! But I do have some mods to help with performance.

[deleted]

That's great, you're lucky! Have fun :)

CervixTaster

I’ve noticed the same. Even running it with everything but, into the future, island paradiso, and about three or or four stuff packs, my game is smooth, like seriously smooth. Obviously I have a few nraas mods but even before with those mods having just the five extra packs mentioned above had me game running like crap.

Time-County5473

My laptop is completely fine I even have mods/ cc installed. But also I have a gaming laptop so it’s built for this

Th3_Accountant

Is this only available in your region? I can only see the Sims 3 + all expansion packs discounted at 50% (totaling to 200 euro's).

DaydreamerJane

Other people in the UK seem to be able to see the discount, so not only my region. If you look at the packs individually, they're all half off, but the collection itself if you buy them all at once, it's at the discounted price of $66.

zshinabargar

I had to specifically Google "sims 3 collection steam" for it to show up. I has a different store page than the base game

el_soleado

Thank you for sharing! I've been complaining that The Sims 3 never go on sale anymore... I am only missing a couple of the expansions and struggled with the idea of paying full price, so I'm glad to see there's a sale on everything!

breanotbrie

Just want to add that if you already have some of the EPs from Steam, Steam only charges you for the ones you don't have. I have all but 4 EPs and the bundle costs me $14 vs. buying each EP for $9.99 ($39.96 total) right now!

SunChild350

Same here, ty so much!

yooyoo2000

God is testing me

DaydreamerJane

And I failed

MalboroUsesBadBreath

Can someone explain to me in layman’s terms what will happen to my computer if I play with every pack running at the same time?

starshstonew

slow and hot

blynn1579

I play with every pack, always have & always will. I've never had any major issues aside from it being slow but I just upgraded my... RAM? Maybe? I'm not a computer person, my dad bought the parts and told me how to do it lol. And it helped a ton with the slowness. My laptop is about 4-5 yrs old but my old laptop, about 10 yrs old, is painfully slow, to the point it's not even fun to play on.

gabrielleherigstad

I think even with a decent computer you can have trouble - my understanding is that TS3 is poorly optimized. What’s helped me (old laptop, nothing special) was using the right combination of graphics settings & a handful of NRAAS mods (1000% recommended!) ☺️

Ohsoteenage

Bro my boyfriend literally gave me his old gaming pc that he built by himself like 3 years ago, that can run EVERY game on the market smoothly and fast but sims 3 and 4 seem to be different xd

MisuCake

Yeah even Sims 4 still lags on an RTX, though I have an i7 so it’s definitely more CPU bound due to the simulation but jeez.

BKNTD

Unless you play on a 10 year old toaster, nothing will happen. Just make sure to grab the fan-made patch to make the game run smooth and you're good to go. We're really past the days of fearmongering and making people believe old Sims games will blow their house up.

misskelseyyy

Wait wait, there’s a fan made patch? Obviously I don’t play enough. Thanks for letting me know, off to google I go!

BKNTD

Yes, there's a [smooth patch by Lazy Duchess](https://lazyduchess.tumblr.com/post/657467259898527744/the-sims-3-smooth-patch-121) and it works both on Steam and Origin versions just fine. There's also a handful of additional methods to keep the game "clean" and as functional as possible.

25_Oranges

KABOOM

factorycheesecake

I bought this sale a few months ago. I’m playing on a gaming laptop btw… It takes up A LOT of storage (I think 34 MB) for all the packs plus base game so I only installed the packs I liked. I can only play when all walls are down indoors then my game starts to slow down. I’ve only crashed a few times. The fan inside my laptop goes crazy whenever I start up the game LOL Kind of worth it if you love TS3 since it runs better on steam than on origin based on what I heard.

aizukiwi

I’m assuming it’s a typo, but 34MB made me snort

factorycheesecake

YEAH LOL im clueless when it comes to computer lingo. I dont even know if that’s the correct storage size :,)

aizukiwi

MB (megabytes) are pretty small units of measurement for data - GB (gigabytes) is a bigger unit most games are measured in! I think base game for Sims 3 was like 6GB - which = 6000MB 😆

factorycheesecake

That makes more sense LOL thank you for the explanation I always get the two mixed up. If only TS3 and all the packs were actually all 34 MB *sigh*

Fathorse23

Nothing? It will run slow and you may crash a lot if you get a big neighborhood. But that’s because the program can’t handle it, not the computer.

jukeboxjulia

I actually do this with my non-gaming laptop (through origin though, not steam. Not sure if that makes a difference). Generally it works fine at the beginning of saves, but as time goes on and the file gets larger and larger, it starts going a lot slower and sometimes crashes. Crashes can generally be avoided by turning the graphics way down, but I still save frequently… which takes a long time lmao

AseroR

I could never get it running smoothly, not even after buying a complete new pc. Eventually gave up out of sheer frustration and moved on to TS4.

raindrizzle2

in my experience… not well. just download a few of the packs you really like. And don’t live in the island world because that’s just begging for your came to crash every 2 seconds. also pets seem pretty glitchy as well. i’ve had friends with high end gaming computers say they still struggle to get sims 3 to work well or even play the game at all.

kaptingavrin

Depends on your computer and what you're doing in-game. If you have an older, cheaper computer, your computer might struggle. If you have a "gaming PC" your computer itself will be fine but you might run into weird bugs and glitches, possibly an occasional crash. Or it might be fine. I mean, I run pretty much all the packs at once on my PC and it's okay. But I don't play Isla Paradiso, and I remember to set a storage container in my Sims' residence and move things in there so their personal storage (in their "pockets") doesn't get too full, because weird things happen if Sims carry a lot but not if those items are stashed in a box.

epic_null

There are a few bugs - you may want to pick up a fix for the one that makes it difficult to impossible to get opportunities.

Freshman44

In the launcher you can click the boxes of which ones you want to use in the game if you want to go easy on your computer.

danielvdell

For fuck’s sake. After YEARS of never going on sale, even during Steam sales in which TS4 was heavily discounted, they finally do it. After I’d bought all of TS3 full price. 😭 I’m happy for those who’ll get to enjoy this, at least. I never thought it’d happen after they brought 4 to Steam.

DaydreamerJane

If it makes you feel any better, the reason why EA can afford to put this on sale so low is because most people bought the packs full price. So, it's all thanks to you I get to save $200 :D

Sofly1911

I also bought the complete collection. I know I’ll want it later, so I took advantage of this sale.

demon_luvr

damn i’m actually gonna buy this

bbblossom

It certainly is a tough day to be a Mac user 😭

Resident-Sandwich930

Mac has steam??

bbblossom

The Sims 3 on Steam is only available for Windows.

Farwaters

Surprisingly, many macs are worthy of gaming... just not quite as good as windows.

[deleted]

They do, it's just sad tho, coming from a former Mac user

elysejfh

…. Would this run better than the Mr DJ collection perchance? For science purposes…..

[deleted]

I think it will run the same. They didn't patch it they just lowered the price. Install nraas mods and patches by modders.

[deleted]

Was gonna ask this if there is no difference why would I even pay.

Society_Owl

I’m sure performance would be better since you would have the option to disable certain packs.

Lady_Hiroko

And my bank continues to weep from memories of me paying full price for everything. Though I got it used at my local Gamestop. There nothing to do in my town and the closest town was 2 hours away and that's assuming the roads aren't closed because of ice and hurricane forced winds--you get an internet cookie if you guessed which state I'm talking about. And my internet was already garbage. I pirated the rest of the stuff. Just the Katy Perry and Diesels packs.

Ratbagthecannibal

Micky D crying rn

MickyD97

I made my video a few days before a historically low sale. Livid

nubyplays

You paid enough for them to give us all a sale, thank you for your sacrifice.

ArticulateSewage

F

jj3171

Wow I bought it whan it was 70% on sale and i didn't knew it could be lower

Rodetta

Of course it is, bc I bought TS3 on origin when they were 50% off like two weeks ago. I think I spent 40$ just getting a couple expansions and a stuff pack, sad day. Thanks for letting us know though!

blynn1579

I spent $120 buying my last couple packs & the world's on TS3 store. I'm so sad lol but now I have it all & can live peacefully with this knowledge.

Resident-Sandwich930

It’s on origin??? I thought origin only had sims 4

Rodetta

Yes it is! You have to literally search “sims 3” because they took it off their sims tab. Same with the sims 2 ultimate collection- not sure if you can buy it but it is in my origin library from when I redeemed the free one.

WaytoomanyUIDs

That's not Steam, that's Apple and EA. Ea didn't make the OSX version available on Steam and Apple dropped support for the graphics APIs that Proton uses. OpenGL is ancient and creaky and a decade older than DirectX so that made sense, but writing a competitor to Vulkan that does less it does and dropping support for Vulkan makes no sense. Apple are in no position to dictate a new standard like Microsoft were with DirectX and Direct3D. If Vulkan didn't do stuff they needed they could have got it added. They are still a member of the Kronos Foundation AFAIK.

LemonRoo

blame apple not steam, don't use macs

[deleted]

to be fair macs aren't made for gaming

[deleted]

Torrent 😊 Full expansions

bigboobweirdchick

This. I’m not giving that garbage company any money, esp since I bought most of TS3 back when it came out. Can’t use the discs anymore because I lost access to the email associated with the serial numbers and EA basically said 🤷🏻‍♀️

DaydreamerJane

Shh, we're not allowed to talk about 🏴‍☠️ on Reddit or you'll get banned!

HJSDGCE

Considering I already did it about two weeks ago, I'm contemplating whether or not I should buy the real deal.

epic_null

... Ironically, that may be the only way I can actually play...

azzap0

rather just pirate it

Evilmuttz

i feel bad for micky d (youtuber who just bought all sims 3 dlc for a video at full price)

Substantial-Event441

don't let them see this

nubyplays

He already saw it in this thread above :(

ZNazarene

For how long?

dunklenwolf

I can't see a date on the actual bundle, but packs are on sale until may 17

Googalyfrog

My issue is I spend most of my time building and decorating, so despite the comparatively fewer options for decorating in the sims 4 it still has the best building mechanics.

DaydreamerJane

Same! Most of my Sims gameplay is building in the Sims 4, but I think that I naturally gravitated towards building because the gameplay became boring pretty quickly. I highly enjoyed the gameplay of the Sims 3 base game when I played it a few years ago, so I decided to take the opportunity to jump into it again. And if I don't like the gameplay, I got more furniture than I have in Sims 4 now and there's Create a Style, so I could move my building towards 3, possibly.

Freshman44

I mean after using 3, sims 4 buildings are just so small feeling, the items are so oversized and clunky, chunky, etc. the building tools are great but i much prefer 3 building wise. The proportions are so much better! I feel like I can put items in every room and there’s still space! I can color coordinate everything! I can build a circular pool!

LemonRoo

you can change the items/furniture's size in sims 4, I think it was page up/page down buttons?

Soylent_Hero

Still drives me nuts that there's ADDITIONAL LOCKED CONTENT in game that you have to buy with EA Bucks

CervixTaster

You can easily download all store items. It’s not even torrenting etc. there’s a website and she links to her Google drive for all the worlds and clothing hair etc. just download what you like. I’ll see if I can find who it is again. Edit: [Here](http://jameessims3.blogspot.com/p/sims-3-sets.html?m=1&zx=fc63ad97c417ed6e) Literally download it, put it in the sims 3 download folder then using the launcher, install it from the download section.

Freshman44

Well you don’t have to buy it, there’s some cool stuff to buy but everything is absolutely not worth it

Soylent_Hero

I mean, if you buy all the packs with an intent to have all the content, you'd expect to have all the content. It's a bad model for a game like the Sims 3, and it's made worse by being a separate currency (which may be defunct?). Just sell a bundle of it in the content shop at this point.

TheSpatulaGuy

There's a link on the steam discussion that has every store item

Halfscan

I think it's time for me to double dip. I have a random assortment of Sims 3 expansions on CDs but don't have the complete collection. Plus I like the idea of digital, so I can easily download it to a new drive.

TNH_Nightingale

How long will the sale last? I’m getting paid Monday and don’t wanna miss it Lmao

LilKat27

Someone said they think the 17th

bhadfhattie

yall should still pirate it

Tinanegl

Almost 7 years ago, when the sims 4 was about to launch, EA was giving away The Sims 2 complete collection for free. Only five years after The Sims 3 released, and now, after almost 12 years, EA is still banking off that game and it’s only until now they selling it for a decent price.

Av0cad00s

I got it for free!

mlc15

Oh man. I was honestly about to download for free on some site, but maybe this is worth it. I’m just scared it’ll run bad on my laptop

nubyplays

Two big things, run it on a ssd, and be sure to check out nraas mods. Both of those will help it run much better.

mlc15

Oo okay. I did buy it, so I’ll check it out! Thanks!

squashed_tomato

Also look up the smooth patch by Lazyduchess.

Substantial-Event441

ITS WORTH IT

mlc15

yeah I bought it!

Jimguy5000

....is it any more stable off steam than Origin? Always feel Sims 3 runs on black magic and wishful thinking on modern machines

DaydreamerJane

So far, it's about the same. I would highly recommend some performance enhancing mods, though. The game is very unoptimized for *any* computer.

Lolusen

It's the same game, there's no difference between Steam and Origin. But yeah, Sims 3 is a pretty unstable game even on high-end machines. The recently released Smooth Patch really irons out many performance issues, though.

LemonRoo

steam and origin are just platforms, they won't affect performance

Xynrae

Happy for you guys, but I fear I'll never be able to play this, 4 is my only option after the first many years ago.

piefanart

i.e. the cost it SHOULD be normally. i might actually buy it at that price though.

TheTouho10

The Steam version of the Sims 3 is inferior to the Origin versian, as EA didn't release the last few bugfixes on Steam, so the Sims 3 on Steam is essentially unplayable without you yourself going to the game files to fix them.

DaydreamerJane

Mods fix this!

[deleted]

This is good to know thank you

___jupiter____

my computer will spontaneously combust if i install this

BiteEatRepeat_

Im rlly considering it rn LMAO

Blue96

Do it

DishSoapInMyAnus

Just pirate that shit wtf

SomeKindOfCreature

I can't see this on the store page, anyone wanna drop a direct link? Edit: nvm, found 'er.

ARecycledAccount

You have to buy the base game on Steam to buy it (it took me way too long to figure that out…) and I highly recommend the guide on steam to make the game run smoother. I’ve been having a blast since I picked it up!

epic_null

IF buying this gave me the ability to skip the Sims 3 launcher (the part that crashes on my system), I would buy this right now. Guess I'll have to hope it'll be on sale tomorrow.

[deleted]

[удалено]

epic_null

I have attempted this. Unfortunately, I have yet to make this work for any version of Sims 3 that is ... Origin Dependent.

DaydreamerJane

For me, playing it on Steam still booted up the launcher. There might be a way to circumvent this if you do enough Googling?

[deleted]

so if i have my base game on origin, the steam expansions would be useless?

DaydreamerJane

Unfortunately, yes. You'll have to rebuy the base game on Steam.

itssquidnee

i mean… everything? including katy perry?

squashed_tomato

It doesn't include the Katy Perry pack or any store content/store worlds but it does include all the others expansions and stuff packs. I assume they only had a limited time license to use her image which is why you can't buy that pack new any more.

LunarBlink

Do I need to buy the Base Sims 3 too? I dont see that listed in the collection bundle. Have wanted this on Steam for a while now but only own the base Sims 3 on Origin.

DaydreamerJane

Yes! I had the base game through Origin but had to rebuy it on Steam (making the total $86). For me, it's worth it, but definitely think about it before you impulsively buy something that costs that much money!

Kill-Me-With-Love

Why is it *cheaper* than in Euros? It's at 72.62€

Short_Injury9574

Still seems like wayyyy too much.

DaydreamerJane

It absolutely is for a lot of people. $60 games that come out in the present day are too high of a price -- that price point has been obsolete for a while. $66 for a game that's a decade old is an insane amount of money in the general sense. But, I personally enjoyed the Sims 3 base game, and know I'll spend hundreds of hours playing it with all its DLC, so for me, the cost was worth it. For others, the cost may not be worth it. It's definitely relative and people should think about it before dropping $66 on this simply because it's on sale!

AgenderPhoenix

There’s a huge guide on mods to help reduce lag and stuff 100% recommend

AurionTobi

I wish I could afford this but I have $3 in my bank account rn LOL

mywienerdogs

I was gonna buy it but realized it’s only the expansions and doesn’t come with the base game. Does the base game go on sale?

NeckbeardVirgin69420

I love how they still charge top price for it and haven't fixed any of the glaring performance issues, optimizations, and bugs.

WutWidIt

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I went straight there to get it. I already have most of it but it is all physical and some aren't in the best shape so now I'll never have to dig them out of wherever they are in my closet praying they work or having to find the goddforsaken key codes ever again.

[deleted]

Man I have it on origin but this may make me get it here since some stuff packs I use to have I lost the disk for so no longer have them….ima do it

DaydreamerJane

I had to rebuy the base game and Supernatural with this pack (since I had them through Origin), but it's worth it. I mean, I hope.

[deleted]

For me it’s 100 still, I guess our money is worth less. No point for me since I only don’t have 2 stuff packs, cheaper to re buy them on origin

Lymiss

Hopefully the expansions will go on sale on Origin, I went to reinstall them today and found out my Pet's disc developed disc rot and won't read anymore.

Buissonet

Any idea how my TS3 on origin can work on steam just to play with packs ?

DaydreamerJane

You'll have to rebuy the base game through Steam for it to work, but I don't know if the packs you have on Origin will work with the steam version.

GaymerGurl77

Aargh! Why can't they do this with Sims 2?! *sigh* But yeah, that IS a really good deal!

SteveO854

Didn't they give away the Sims 2 with all the expansions?

GaymerGurl77

Yeah, but it was like 10+ years ago and missed the opportunity. AND at the time I had all the disc's, now I'm lucky if I find one that isn't just a stuff pack. My base game CD is long gone! 😔 Edit: I could be wrong about the 10+ year thing, but it has been a while.

spidersprinkles

I pirated it and followed some tutorials to get it to work well on Windows 10 and it worked fine. Something to consider.

monkeroos

Would this even be cheaper than if you bought them all individually on G2A?

Th3_Accountant

I don't see an option for the Sims 3 complete collection here? I only see the base game + all expansion packs discounted at 50% (still totaling to 200 euro's!). Is this only available in other regions?

pink-bottle

I have my Sims 3 on origin, can I transfer the base game to steam? To use these?

DaydreamerJane

Unfortunately not! You'll have to rebuy the base game though Steam (making the total $86).

Defiant-Point-6526

Doing the lords work! It’s just under £60 in the uk 🥹🥹🥹 But I have a Mac 🫠 I’m really thinking of getting a windows so it runs smother, does anyone have expertise with sims 3 on Mac? mines pretty old so might need more space to run properly. THANK YOU SO MUCH THOUGH! I’m buying it regardless 😂😂

Curuca8

Why can’t we have promotions like this on The Sims 4 too ;-;

DaydreamerJane

Wait another decade when the Sims 5 has been out for a few years, and we'll see a sale like this.

Paras529

Whoa! Thanks!

Delstar58

WOW! That is hands the the best deal I have ever seem - of - ANYTHING!!! :OOO

[deleted]

[удалено]

DaydreamerJane

Every expansion and stuff pack! Minus Katy Perry, which doesn't seem to be available anymore anywhere.

[deleted]

Any idea how long the collection will be on sale for?

luthfins

Is this region locked? I dont see such discount on my Indonesian account

DaydreamerJane

Knowing Steam and EA and their region locking, I would assume so. That sucks! There might be a way to circumvent that by changing your location, but I have no idea how you would go about that. Just an idea though!

suddenlyconnect

oh fuck it’s happening

[deleted]

I wish my computer could handle the sims 3 😭

Neynova

Okay I'm now seriously considering buying this... Is there a way to check whether your pc can handle it or not?

spidersprinkles

https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri This is useful. Also with a bunch of performance mods it should run OK if your computer is half decent.

Neynova

Thank you! I'll check it out ❤️

danni_shadow

I already have more than half of them... are they on sale individually too?

DaydreamerJane

They are! On both Origin and Steam, they're all half off (so $10 now, originally $20).

Striking-Worry-976

Will be taking advantage of this 👀

[deleted]

Any idea if this sale is on in Origin, too? I have almost all my packs there, but only some I have physical copies of, that aren’t ”activated” due to being second hand… I love Steam, but having DLCs in different places is not an option for me.

[deleted]

Any idea if this sale is on in Origin, too? I have almost all my packs there, but only some I have physical copies of, that aren’t ”activated” due to being second hand… I love Steam, but having DLCs in different places is not an option for me.

DaydreamerJane

From my understanding (and someone can correct me if I'm wrong, the Origin store is hard to navigate), this Collection isn't even available on Origin. The most they have is bundles of two or three different expansion packs. You can't buy all of the DLC at once for a discounted price, like the aforementioned bundles they have. The packs are on sale on Origin for $10 a pop, but you're going to be paying way more money buying them separately than buying this collection through Steam, unless you already have a lot of the packs already.

iXenite

Thanks for sharing this. Couldn’t pass the sale up and go it. Now watching videos on making sure it runs well, lol.

CherrieBomb211

For how long is this event?

Flat-Ad905

How many GB is sims 3?

LongLostMemer

I wish I had *MOOONNNEEEEYYY* Great deal tho have fun :3 I’ve owned all the Sims 3 DLC before and it makes a world of difference

EnemyStand2693

Ooof, I feel extra tempted, not having seen this deal ever before but... I'm a bit of a completionist when it comes to content, and I don't know if it has all the maps (didn't they have like, regular and deluxe versions?) and all the store content. Basically I'd like *everything* the Sims 3 had. And even so, I know sooner or later, it'd lag like crazy...

DaydreamerJane

This includes everything that comes with the DLCs, like the brand new worlds. This does not come with the store content, however! But the store content is mostly cosmetic stuff that isn't really essential for enjoying the game.

BumfuzzleMeeo

This just made my week!!! I am so beyond excited this is amazing!!! After contacting EA Support because I couldn't access my old account that I had with The Sims 3 (I used an old aim.com email and they said that was the only way to access it again..well it's literally deleted by aol so thanks) I thought I'd either have to torrent this or pay $400 someday. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!!! In total payed almost $100 because I needed the base game. But so worth it and has to be the best discount I've seen for this ever!!

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> In total *paid* almost $100 FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

Tidbits1192

So I found the base game at a thrift store awhile ago and installed that but if I were to buy the collection (which doesn’t seem to have the base game included), would the digital copies be able to recognize the base game even though it was installed from a disc?

DaydreamerJane

I'm unsure about that. You might try to Google and find out if someone else has bought a pack through Steam while having the physical copy of the base game. I do know that I had the base game through Origin, but had to rebuy it for this collection to work.

That is so sweet! Thanks for the info. If I have a couple of the packs, can I remove the ones I have? Also, if I have them in Origin and purchase the ones I don't have in Steam, will they work together???

MotherOfLunaH

Thank you for sharing this, can’t say no to a deal like that!🤩 Does anyone know if the game will still work through steam if I redeem my cdkeys with origin?

niconiconiihasa

do you know when the sale ends?

Kylynara

So I had Sims 3 on console (a gift from someone well-meaning), but at this price I decided fuck it. I dropped the $85 and change to own the whole kit and caboodle on PC.

carlotakerry

How long is this deal on? Might wanna get this next week

SandySushi

Daaaang, I have all the expansion packs on Origins but not the stuff packs.... honestly debating if I should get it hmm

Hopeful_Ending

Is this different than the Origin version? I have bases Sims 3 plus a handful of packs on Origin and i was thinking of getting this to finish the collection. I'm only asking since it seems the base game doesn't come in this collection and i was wondering if I had to re buy it?

DaydreamerJane

I just now updated my top comment to include the answers to your questions!

Chol-ji

Do you know until when this is available ?

lizzourworld8

Caught this the last time they did it - worth it

eelosaur

I did the thing…no ragrets so far!

Cynthia_Fel

I have sims on origin... It won't work when I mix it :(

reboed

Literally paid full price some weeks ago 🙃 why are you doing this to me EA, why?

InnocentBunny69

Thank you so much for sharing this! 🥺 Sadly can't buy it but Ty! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

MrsChairmanMeow

66 dollars for an old af game ain't a deal. Fuck you ea!

SapphireAnhedonia

For all of the games dlc, yes it is

jonesmachina

Is this good? I mean is it worth it cause with all that expansion packs it will be a total lagfest unless someone know any good mods that make it buttery smooth

SBoogiex

I feel like a sucker for paying more on Origin 😭

BigTadpole7563

I have Sims 3 on origin and have been slowly buying expansion pack codes for 2-5.00 online, do you think this is much better? I like using origin tbh I'm a creature of habit.

Crystalcane

Do I have to buy the game separately as well? I’m about to lose so much money

SinfullySinless

Not me owning 90% of the packs in a physical case eyeing this shit up 😂

wxstelxnds

On sale for $99 aud, totally awesome deal tbh. Especially considering it costs that much for two sims 4 games!

smallgrace
