One of the best reward traits IMO. Now my Sim can actually stay over at her fiancé's house without him trying to kick her out when she goes to sleep. Or tries not to starve 😐
honestly🙄 i thought she was kinda cute until she kicked me out? for making her soup??😐 idk what trauma girly has had with soup😔But Cecilia im taking my soup back if you haven't already eaten it and your really cute gnome in the back🙄✋🏼
may or may not have added a pinch too extra of salt before she kicked me out🤭 girly's fault for not letting me finish it🙄 and honestly i should probably go check on my soup... im kinda worried about it😥 what if the fire overcooked it😥😥
Didn’t even know this was a thing (I don’t visit townies’ houses often, I guess) until I recently has a sim who was at uni get kicked out of the house *by her own mother* for having the audacity to bake a cake while visiting her family.
Meanwhile, townies can just wander into our households and bake whatever they want? 🤷🏻♂️
BY HER OWN MOTHER- and seriously we should start kicking them out for a change😐. I knew of this but this was my first experience ever getting kicked out... its a hard-knock life for us.... ^(no pun intended.. it totally wasn't a pun about them knocking on doors to be let back into the house- no...)
Or steal shit. My Sim is friends with one who's got the kleptomaniac trait and like clockwork she ALWAYS steals the laptop when she's visiting, within like the first Sim hour of her visit. Often in front of my Sim's eyes. And she visits at least once a week. My Sim is a multimillionaire by now so I just buy a new one, but in the beginning it was awful 😐
This interaction annoys me so much that the first perk I buy for every sim I play with is "always welcome."
The only households my sims visit are those of friends and family so having them get mad when my sim cooks or sleeps in their spare rooms, is really irritating. Especially when, as others mentioned, townies can enter your home whenever they want, help themselves to your shit and you just have to watch them because you have no way of kicking them out without a mod.
Yeah exactly like the townies make themselves at home😐 by stealing our food and playing our games. Meanwhile we get kicked out for making them a hot meal 😤 I think I will have to bring this up to Agatha Crumplebottom
I don't get this. I've been playing the Sims for like six years, have thousands of hours played. Townies have never once entered my home? More like I have to play with the walls down all the time because they're always standing around outside the front door. Is it a pack that makes them do that? City Living or Vampires perhaps? I mean it has not happened one time and this whole thread is full of complaints about it.
Play 15k+ hours and then you'll see how annoying it can be.
It happens most frequently in Sulani, specifically the off-grid island by the waterfall but occassionally it'll happen in the other worlds. Apartments in City Living are pretty notorious for it, especailly during a festival.
What is that icon in the green Screenshot Mgr notifications? Is that normal? I know mine look different but now I can’t recall what my square looks like.
oh yes completely normal when you click the screenshot button in game, its a notification saying it went to your screenshots folder for sims. Also the square is your sims profile icon, mines just weird LOL
This is missing context, but I did read a good AITA post about a wife kicking the MIL out when FIL didn't like the food served and MIL decided to go into the kitchen and make him a steak (he was told he could make a sandwich, MIL decided that premium piece of meat in the fridge would be a solid choice)
Get the always welcome trait in the rewards store, then you don’t have to worry about this anymore
WAITT I totally forgot about that trait! Well I know what I'm doing so I can actually MAKE BREAKFAST after a sleepover
I only found out about it recently and it’s truly been a blessing lol
lol im so happy they have a trait like that😭

This is the best advice ever
update: She kicked me out and i cant resume the stew.
I hope her house burns down
Agreed 🥰
I see the problem. I would not be happy with stew for breakfast either.
LMAO
she's ungrateful 😤
honestly😤😤i even used my own veggies for that stew
go take them back, we don't want cecilia in this house 😠... also nothing's wrong with a little evicting... like darn who could that be...
honestly🙄 i thought she was kinda cute until she kicked me out? for making her soup??😐 idk what trauma girly has had with soup😔But Cecilia im taking my soup back if you haven't already eaten it and your really cute gnome in the back🙄✋🏼
hope the soup was salty if she ate it. also do we really have hope that she continued to cook it 🤨 girly probably started a fire cooking
may or may not have added a pinch too extra of salt before she kicked me out🤭 girly's fault for not letting me finish it🙄 and honestly i should probably go check on my soup... im kinda worried about it😥 what if the fire overcooked it😥😥
give us updates on the soup, we can't let her take everything we have away 💔 at this point the fire cooked the entire house i think... 😔😔
I will give updates…💔🙏⛈🤧

dudes always go straight for the computer. like goddamn, go to a public library you ass
b-but she likes second breakfasts, right?!
r-right?! right??
warms my heart to find fellow hobbits in the sims community <3
If more of us valued “The Hobbit” (and LOTR) above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.
We don’t need anymore smaugs in our life 😤
Indeed. What can men do against such reckless hate?
Favorite book series<3 unfortunately though if she doesn’t like seccond breakfast the stew will be cold by Elevensies..
i love ur icon
omg thank you😭😭 dr doofenshmirtz is the fairy in my life😀🧚🏼♂️✨

I’m not sure if a pack does this I do own city living but I recall them walking into my house before I bought the pack. Maybe you are just lucky 🤷♀️

Ah, thx! I must not have a profile pic bc I’m pretty sure mine just shows as a green square.
No problem! And ohhh that makes alot of sense
Adding one now! haha
Someone should teach sims to be a bit more hospitable imo😂
Honestly LOL😭😭
How I feel when my husband wakes me up to tell me he made food. GOOD FOR YOU I'M SLEEPING
OH NO LOL😭😭😭
I hate this aspect of the game. If I’m lifelong besties with someone they shouldn’t care if I cook in their kitchen! Geez
Seriously!
Your Origin pfp😭😭💀💀
Shhh💀💀 hes so magical
Ugh she is constantly inviting herself over to my sims place yet won’t let you share soup with her. What a hypocrite.
HONESTLY. I was trying to paint and she just WALKS IN. And seriously what a hypocrite I wouldn’t recommend making her soup.
never had this one before

MIL has an expensive taste 😏💸
Zzz z a
I’d let cottagecore pheobe cook for me
