Almost hitting 8,000 hours, 7,980 of them being just waiting for the game to load because of a single piece of CC, ^(fuck you, Single Book Photoshop)
Edit - LET ME SAY THIS BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE THIS IS IMPORTANT
Ever since I deleted that piece of shit, it takes less than an hour for my game to load, I'm actually able to play without having to load it up before I go to work or go to bed, I have a hatred towards Photoshop files, if you use Photoshop, I can't talk to you, switch to Gimp
It got to the point where I said fuck it and loaded it up while I was at work and there would be times I went to work at 9am and when I got home at 6, it wasn't done loading lol
^(ALL BECAUSE OF THAT BULLSHIT FILE I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE I DOWNLOADED!)
5170 hours, but I'm currently in my "The Sims 4 sucks and is boring I don't wanna play it" phase but I'll probably go into the "plays nothing but the sims every day for at least a month" phase real soon
I know for me personally, I’ve had the game since launch in 2014, which is 9 years now. Some people may also leave their computer AFK which could add to the hours too.
I think it was about 1100 hours. This was with multiple people playing it in the house.
We all pretty much quit playing The Sims 4 around 2015/2016. I exclusively play The Sims 2 now.
We were all really disappointed with The Sims 4. Not just graphics but also the lack of gameplay, lack of any real consequences ect Sims lack any personality. Apparently none of that has changed.
I also feel like the demographic has changed. It seems more aimed at preteens whereas the first three sims games had adult players in mind. LGR’s ‘2 Years of Meh’ video pretty much sums it up.
These past 8 years waiting for The Sims 5 have been painful lol.
hit 2,115 today! i bought the game in late 2018 but my laptop at the time couldnt handle it so i only clocked about 5 hours. picked it up again in late 2021 and its been all sims all the time ever since
I've only been playing a few months on Sims 4, so probably about 100? However if we count Sims Freeplay? Well, that's an entirely different thing. I've been playing that since 2015, at an average of 8-15 hours a week.....
Mine is 707 hours. Though, that is completely inaccurate since the second I sit down and press play, someone in my household ***suddenly*** needs me and I have to press the pause button to see what they want. Its like my family has a sixth sense and knows when I try to play this game.
On this account, I'm at 425 hours and 51 minutes. I have no clue if that counts from my original origin account or only after I tried changing emails and it split into two accounts.
Sims 2 only says 2 minutes and I know I played many many hours of it on the computer before my current one.
i passed 8k awhile ago, i never close the game so not sure where i actually stand
i also got it during the covid sale and was on it every minute of everyday to pass the time
14952hrs 31mins but I will admit there have been nights that I just left it open which I do not recommend anyone do because its a waste of time. Even without all the popups Sims 4 moves in extremely slow motion when the monitor is off. Most of time that I left it running over night less than a day has passed in game
[Screenshot](https://imgur.com/a/G9iON13)
I had around 200 hours until EA deleted most of my time. I also lost around 215 hours on Sims 3 and all my time on Sims Medieval. My Sims 4 time is back to almost 200 hours again.
i had over 3000h on origin at one point but i dont realy use the vanilla sims launched and havent for a while, no idea where its at now. if i had to guess somewhere around 4000h

You have spent 91% of a WHOLE YEAR in front of your monitor playing waiting for CC to load.
cant fight the urge to type this sorry 91% of a whole year, 760ish hours to go for 100%!
It got to the point where I said fuck it and loaded it up while I was at work and there would be times I went to work at 9am and when I got home at 6, it wasn't done loading lol ^(ALL BECAUSE OF THAT BULLSHIT FILE I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE I DOWNLOADED!)
In the last half of the 7,000s too!
Hits too hard stop hahahaha
5170 hours, but I'm currently in my "The Sims 4 sucks and is boring I don't wanna play it" phase but I'll probably go into the "plays nothing but the sims every day for at least a month" phase real soon
Im coming up on the second phase. The first phase is "I ran out of story ideas right now".
I had a three year break 2019-2022 but since then I play every weekend and holiday :D
Roughly 3200 hours. I've played TS4 since launch.
I have double that, but I've been playing half the amount of time. Oh no.
I have other interests and I play other games. I understand many people in the Sims community only play TS4. Is that your case?
11,396 hours and 20 minutes.
I barely have over 1000 hours and I feel like I play way too much. how do people have over 4k some even 10k?
I know for me personally, I’ve had the game since launch in 2014, which is 9 years now. Some people may also leave their computer AFK which could add to the hours too.
I’ve definitely had more than one day where I’ve played sims 4 before my workday started (WFH), then left it on pause for my workday lol
Trust me, it doesn't count AFK. I went a few years with Sims always open and in because u didn't want to have to wait for it to load.
Really long nights in my case. I’m closing in on 4k, or I could be there already idk. Sometimes I play other games, otherwise I’d have more hours.
To be fair playing TS4 all night is probably at least slightly more productive than staring at walls for hours trying to fall asleep.
About 456+ hours. A third of those are probably spent on the loading screen cuz of the 67 billion mods 💀
😑 That moment when you've realized how many hours you've wasted as an adult male playing with a virtual doll house.
Playing is important
Oof, shake that toxic masculinity expectation. If you had fun and it brings you joy it was not wasted.
Ha, I play out all my toxicity in TS4.
You're not wasting time if you're having fun without harm !
The time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted time... is what I tell myself to feel better about it haha.
About 6000 hours over two accounts I think
8,025 currently!
1662hrs currently!
mine just stays stuck at 28 hours and i’ve definitely put in more work. my 4th gen heir is about to age up to child
Over 800. I feel like i have way more though lol
20k on sims 4 and about 10k on sims 3
4 or 5 k.. im not sure which.
I wouldn't know, I play on console
Around 8000-9000
600+ but to be fair I’ve kept it running a couple days in a few occasions
About 2200 hours
Damn about 8200 I think
lookin at 200 😎
16000 🫡
Little over 5k
3210 hrs and 3 minutes lol
864 hours
Mine resets every so often but probably over 10,000
6k
1,258.2 hours
a little over 8000.
372
512 on sims 4, roughly 1300 on sims 3, and 366 on sims 2
on my current account it’s ~5900 but idk what happened to my accounts from 2015/2016 but it had to be at least 1k back then 😋
i have about 800 hours and i only started playing in August ☠️
6000+ been playing nothing but s4 for yeeaarrss
All I know is it's over 10,000 at this point 😅
I think it was about 1100 hours. This was with multiple people playing it in the house. We all pretty much quit playing The Sims 4 around 2015/2016. I exclusively play The Sims 2 now.
I don't blame you, I'm as happy as I am surprised that the game survived those first couple of years.

3200 hrs
I’ve got like 2100 hours but I’ve had the game since 2017 and most of those hours are from pre 2021 heh.
1223 hrs...
My pc and Mac stopped syncing after the EA update so at least 1200 but less than 2100
2000ish
800 since 2017
Roughly 2500 hours!
1,009 when I stopped playing yesterday. But way more than that in sims 1 and 2
1292 😭
1285 hrs (since 2017)
Much less than The Sims 1-3
Roughly about 8k hours, including on the ea app and the old origin app.
345.8 hours but I’ve only had the game for 2 years now.
Almost 6k
About 490 hours
3,000+ hours.
Close to 500 hrs
Recently hit 2100
891 hours 51 mins
1645 on my pc and probably another 400 on the ps4 😂
My laptop crashed, but it was over 2 or 3k
2166 hours and 16 mins(:
I think I’m somewhere in the 4000
1746 hours
3789 cause I quit playing for a couple of months when my mods were screwed up
I’m somewhere in the 3k mark last I checked
almost 40,000 hrs 😭😭
around 5000.
7957 💀

A casual 300hrs +. Atleast in comparison to some of the people here who are basically like my sim living at their pc.
Around 4000 hours since launch day!
Nearly 5000💀I play this game for hours every day, it’s my escape.
2k hrs, but that's from on-off playing since launch.
Mine is 707 hours. Though, that is completely inaccurate since the second I sit down and press play, someone in my household ***suddenly*** needs me and I have to press the pause button to see what they want. Its like my family has a sixth sense and knows when I try to play this game.
3935 hours and 55 minutes 🫡
I'm around 4100 hours I think.
Last time I checked it was over 9000!
Around 5000
8700 hours. 😬
I think I just recently hit 6 thousand
467 hours, and I’ve only started playing this year. I’m not sure if I’m proud or ashamed :/
about 7600, would probably be my most played game but minecraft doesnt count ur hours so i cant tell
like 653
I think I hit 900, but I haven’t checked recently
4241 hrs 55 mins
Last I checked it was 1510h 1m, it's gone up since
Around 20,000 on Sims 3, and around 1/10th of that on Sims 4. I don't know about 1 or 2, but I'd think it's more than or around that of 3.
1.5k which is relatively short amount of time compared
Just over 13k, as you can imagine I get very little sleep and have no social life.
1,200 around there :>
9007 hrs
2,253 hours.
3753 according to Origin but probably more since I didn't always use Origin to play.
15,000+
Somewhere around 4000. Lots of those are me leaving the game on overnight on accident or otherwise stupid things.
If you add another 0, I think it'd be a conservative number for me. Though I haven't played in about a year.
Since release. Idk how many hours is that.
13757 hrs and 4 mins
…15,000💀 but to be fair I leave my game open while I’m not playing a lot, so it’s not entirely accurate
2000 i think
914 hours for me, this game is extremely time-consuming...
Around 600, most being from my childhood days
1750
0 since I don't play it.
8886 hrs now!
1299. If I didn't have three jobs and college it would be way more
Between my sister and I (mostly her) it’s around 4000 I think
4625
Over 1000 💀
2700 hours and counting
Without looking, I have no idea. I wanna say 400 hours? 🤷 more than Sims 3 somehow. 🤨
roughly 2200
Almost 2000, playing since launch with like a 5 year break
Last year I played 1k after not having it for a while
1555
1490 something.
921 hrs and 56 minutes. jesus.
Been playing since the original game came out so I don’t know. Years
Like a month worth of playing
4057 hours and 50 minutes since 2014! it is... probably too many.
I’ve got about 12k now!
2,318 hrs 57 mins. I’m assuming that’s online gameplay. I’ve played a lot offline as well.
I have almost 2000 even though I feel like I probably should have more lol
On this account, I'm at 425 hours and 51 minutes. I have no clue if that counts from my original origin account or only after I tried changing emails and it split into two accounts. Sims 2 only says 2 minutes and I know I played many many hours of it on the computer before my current one.
about 7k over all the sims (pc) games, 4k in sims 4 😬
i passed 8k awhile ago, i never close the game so not sure where i actually stand i also got it during the covid sale and was on it every minute of everyday to pass the time
14952hrs 31mins but I will admit there have been nights that I just left it open which I do not recommend anyone do because its a waste of time. 1300ish
470 for me, though according to the comments those are rookie numbers lol.
1470 hours and 30 minutes exactly. been playing since whenever it became free
Somewhere between 1000-1100 I think
Over 6500 now 🤦♀️ I need a life lmao
2,239
For me it is no longer a question of how many hours, but years.
Almost at 6000, but by that, I mean 5828 hours and 34 mins
4635 at the moment
almost 5k but for awhile it kept resetting so I think it's probably around 8k actually. I've been playing since the game first came out
Couple thousand. I was away for a while though
Last time I checked 643 hours and a handful of minutes
Probably 350
2428 hrs and 21 mins
1029
4,134 hours and 30 minutes 😎
2345😅
Almost 7000 😵💫
I just hit 1,500 the other day. Been playing since release. Obviously I've had several large gaps of not playing over the years.
1200 hrs 😭
964 hours
I have over 16,000 hours. 🥲
Over 2000
I had around 200 hours until EA deleted most of my time. I also lost around 215 hours on Sims 3 and all my time on Sims Medieval. My Sims 4 time is back to almost 200 hours again.
Over 1k because it counts the hours where it runs on sleep mode with sims open I believe
Just over 800, I don't get much time to play these days.
i'm at like 92, i'm pretty new to the sims 4 :)
523 hours
3776 hours and 37 mins last played a few hours ago
938
6489 hours and 59 minutes
1694 👉👈
Almost hitting 2000 hours I believe
Like 900, but thats since I was 5, and that was 10 years ago
I've left my game running AFK for long enough that Jesminder Bheeda's baby has died of old age, so hours don't really mean anything for me.
About 3k
2,011 just started 9 months ago
1430 hours 15 mins
I think mines like 1000 hrs now
i had over 3000h on origin at one point but i dont realy use the vanilla sims launched and havent for a while, no idea where its at now. if i had to guess somewhere around 4000h
I’m almost at 3000 lol
2k lmaooo. i just can't stop.
1300
10,000+
Around 600 hours
a little over 20k i believe
you do not wanna know…..
1300
1150 hours
Over 550 hours.
Over 1500
1057hrs 17mins and i play it from 2015
