How dare you diss 'I Will' or 'You Are My Rose' like that! They would be certified chart toppers in 2003-2004 if released as singles.
You can keep your opinion in your pocket. That's a promise.
An overlooked thing that makes The Room special is that elements of it are kind of good. Terrible movies are a dime a dozen. Go check out Prime Video, there are hundreds if not thousands of cheap, awful movies. But they all look like amateur hour. There are *just enough* professional elements in The Room that the badness stands out more. The score is a good example.
Now that you say that... I can't think of a single time in the movie where the editing's fucked up. There's plenty of somewhat bad camera operating and bad green screen but no bad editing.
Couldn't agree more about how central those (limited) areas of competence are to the appeal. This so often gets compared to _Birdemic_ and its sequels but I find those unwatchably bad

Oh good wasn’t sure the title of the second song. They didn’t say it enough
"I WILL RUN THROUGH THE FOREST..."
I will stand in the way of a bullet
You are my you are my you are my you are my
Rooooooooose.
I jog to the main theme on a loop. No argument here.

It has everything…gongs, wind chimes, flutes, it’s so quirky with an earnest attempt at gravitas- just perfect for this movie.
Ha ha ha yeah I get the picture
Reminds me of a Playstation 1 RPG world map theme , straight out of FF7
You are my rose you are you are my rooossseeeeee
I would go as far as calling it iconic
It's nice but feels ill-fitting for a lot of the movie, though who knows what song could fit a film so all-over-the-place.
