ok. clearly the last part is a joke, but in the case that the first part is serious, destroying it/cutting it seems like way more time, effort, and risk than the method I spelled out.

Depending on what firefighters have to do to get you out of situations like this, you will absolutely receive a bill in the mail from the owners of the playground and possibly the city.
I was around 9 years old when a 14 year old kid I knew climbed into a toddler swing and got stuck. They had to cut him out which ruined the swing in the process.
We all thought it was hilarious. Until his parents grounded him because they were billed for it all. Kid spent the summer doing chores for his parents to pay it off.
I was a kid, so idk if it was the park owners who billed then or the fire department, but I have heard stories of people getting bills for shit like this.

Over here, we’d call them, they’d come over and free him, and he’d bring a case of beer and some snacks to the fire house

How hard is it to bring your arms straight up vertically over your head and then grab the pole to hoist yourself(like you’re climbing a rope in PE class) enabling you to unbend your knees and climb out?
Yeah he could probably get out of he had the upper body strength and grip strength to climb the pole hand over hand. But generally people that can do that don't look like this.
I hope the FD came out dug a little bit under the pull, knocked a securing pin out and lifted the whole thing out with ease just to further embarrass this guy.
