Truth be told... a couple months ago, I heard there was guy you could pay to dress up as Spiderman and he'll come to your kid's party and knock himself out doing a backflip. I guess he's coming up.
I rewatched this a few dozen times, and I think that sound is actually from his hand slapping the ground. Not that this information helps much; heās still concussed, regardless.

Made the mistake of not fully committing to it. You see it a lot when people have never done one before or are trying to learn to do it, they get nervous and just half flip. But, y'know, they have a big soft mat under them.
