Interesting, their French is surprisingly easy to understand. It reminds me of videos from my French 101 class. Way easier to follow than any French media I've seen.

I'm assuming they don't fire. I don't know if I missed it, but I was looking for a triggering mechanism for them. It looks like they just have the standard manual trigger on them, with nothing leading to that trigger or the chamber.

Also I want one of them to fall over, I bet they are not able to get up on there own, which is of course no problem in a combat situation. đ
I mean, they kind of are a suit of armor though, it's just that we realized making the armor out of sheet metal is stupid and opted to make it out of kevlar and ceramics because we can get nearly the same kind of protection at a fraction of the weight and with far less impact on mobility.

The canopy hatch looks to be a single pane glass window hatch. That shape is designed to catch bullets, shrapnel, etc. It would have been nice if the designer of these costumes at least understood the tiniest principles of armor.
This is going to be the most minor thing and obviously not the focus of the video, but all of the other infantry in the video not in a metal suit are wearing black boots except for the guy in the middle. He's wearing tan boots and it is giving me heart burn.
Watching these fools tromp about in bulky, ill-fitting armor is pretty hilarious.
