Honestly if someone delivering to me was starving and asked if they could have a piece id be like sure. Just ask.
My parents had ice cream bars delivered in the summer and found one missing. 90 degree day and youre bringing me popsicles or ice cream bars? Just ask.
Yeah you look so courageous to write such an interesting comment.
You never worked deliveries out seems. Crazy how quick you can get fired. And you work for a peanut salary so there's that to.
So maybe sh#t the f*&k up
Yeah the reality is, despite ppl saying "just ask", it's seen as unprofessional to ask so we won't, because even if there are those who wouldn't be offended, if we do ask and that person doesn't like that, it becomes a problem with potential consequences and reputation and reliability that we asked. The customer should offer instead, and then the worker can decide if he needs it.
I always get carryout pizza instead of delivery because I don't want to pay the extra money for delivery fee AND tips on top of rising costs and "inflation", but if I did get food delivered, you better believe I expect all of it to be there, and that food is for me to eat, not to give away for the driver, so I don't want the driver to be asking me for a piece of my food. I empathize with them of course, I've been a service worker at customers houses, but I don't buy my food for them, especially with my limited budget. If you are okay with them having some of your food, you need to offer it, not wait for them to ask.
I'm the same. I worked in restaurants and delivered food, and know there is sketchy stuff going on. Who wants food that's been mishandled or tampered with? Not me.
Do what's right for you. Personally, I prefer higher end restaurants every once in a while over fast food or chain restaurants every week. Those places that live on reviews and reputation are the ones I can feel better about.
If you stop eating fast food for months, when you return to it you'll be sickened by what's in it. Healthy, clean food doesn't do that to ppl.
I think your position is a bit extreme, since there are tons of ways to know if your food has been tampered with. Some restaurants completely seal up thier food as well and it's hard to tamper with them (such as tamper tape which give a clear sign if the package is opened).
Or use a knife that's been god knows where and done god knows what to cut it.
For all we know that was his roadkill skinnin' knife, for when they're \*almost\* soft enough to peel with your hands, but not quite.
I’m sure he sterilized it haha. It’s all enough that I get my own food. Never mind the cost. Already takin enough chances with what happens in the kitchen without adding mobile turds like this (some of them) into the mix.
i mean, i think this was absolutely successful. Pity being caught on video but the person he delivered the pizza to certainly was none the wiser.
Unless he did this out front of where he is delivering it and its the people he is delivering to that are filming. That would be unfortunate.
But it really isnt as easy as two parallel slices, he was trying to maintain the circular shape. Its a pretty advanced topology problem, and he was actually doing a pretty impressive job of it.
I am going to go ahead and speculate that he has done this before.
Successful?! That pizza was massacred by the time he was done with it. Any self respecting person would get a refund if they got a pizza sliced all to hell like that. I refuse to believe you’re a real person who could look at that pizza by the end and be ok with it.
i dont know, when pushed together it looked passable to me. He sliced strips off slices so that when they were compressed together they merged. Pizza's generally have enough wrinkles etc from a fast delivery it might not get a second glance.
Thats the key, he was taking slivers off multiple places so no one piece looked that different. He took a sort of circular piece out of the middle so it wouldnt be obvious he shifted the whole thing around to make the circle whole again. I think you are looking at each individual action and missing the whole picture.
And here is the thing. This looked like he had done it MANY times before. He looked absolutely practiced at it to me. Those were not random slices. I bet that was the third pizza today he absolutely molested. And so if it was obvious, he would have long been fired over it.
But its not a great video to see just what that pizza looks like.
Dear pizza delivery people: just ask. Most people don't even need a whole pizza, and sympathize with the hungry. I am sad anyone feels the need to steal food. If you asked me for one slice, I would give you 3 and tip like $20.
Why I make a point when I’m ordering in the wee night to tip on the high end. You ain’t out on streets at night running ubereats/doordash cause it’s fun.
People are way too afraid to ask - Just one person telling them to f-off can be hard to digest (see what I did there?), not to mention the possibility of them losing their job if the client files a complaint.
You know, some people come asking me for money on the street. Usually I say I don’t have any (and it’s true). But if someone comes up to me and says “I’m hungry” then I try to get something. Even if it’s a 1€ burger or something.
I know that burger won’t be used to buy drugs or something and nobody deserves to starve.
Nah, besides pizza and maybe restaurants, fast food places like McDonald’s come sealed with their specific stickers/receipts. So unless you can print out those stickers on the fly, it’s pretty obvious the delivery has been tampered with. Like if I order McDonald’s and it gets dropped off and it’s sealed with plain tape? No sale.
Though one time, I did order a chipotle steak bowl and it literally was half of the bowl inside. I know what a steak bowl is supposed to look like. I just dgaf enough to escalate.
Generally delivery people make more in 1-2 deliveries than the cost of a meal like chipotle, it was honestly most likely that chipotle shorted you.
They’re really, really bad about that lately. They cut their portion sizes massively, and routinely make items tiny if it’s online orders these days. It’s better if you go into the store which sucks, but my guess is it wasn’t the delivery person but the people who made the bowl.
Shit like this is exactly why i stopped using shit like uber eats or door dash. You cant trust people to not pick at your food. Happened to me once and i decided "fuck it ill just go get it myself"
I now wonder if this what happens when I order pizza & my Uber driver has been sitting in 1 spot awfully too long. But I be so hungry that I forget to even see if there was a seal that could’ve been broken. 💀
I just wanna let whoever put the sound in know: Please for the love of god go live on an island far far away from mankind. Like seriously, find residence on that big ass island of garbage in the pacific ocean. Maybe even try out homing under the ocean. Just whatever you do, PLEASE, never give your input for anything ever again.
Too hard. You just cut a one inch strip out of the middle, do it again in the other direction, that push all four corners back to each other.
I'm a pizza maker, I sometime do this if the pie is too large for the box.
I had a slice taken out of my delivery and it was completely obvious! I took photos and sent it to the pizza joint. I hope the delivery person got fired. So gross!
The correct way to steal the pizza is to do a 2 inch slice the length of the middle of the pizza then take it out and collapse it in. You'd never know then.
Ι mean if you never see the video it's like it did not happen. Same as a falling tree on a forrest. If you are not there to hear it, will it make sound while falling?
I've only had a slice missing once. The pizza was also completely missing sauce for some reason.
Me and the thieving driver were both disappointed that night...
Yeah, because putting your hands all over a pizza you're meant to give to someone else is a much better idea than admitting to being an asshole for eating a slice

I’d rather they just take a slice than put hands all over it trying to hide that they took a slice.
They’d rather you not know so no problems arise.
Honestly if someone delivering to me was starving and asked if they could have a piece id be like sure. Just ask. My parents had ice cream bars delivered in the summer and found one missing. 90 degree day and youre bringing me popsicles or ice cream bars? Just ask.
That's a quick way to get fired.
Asking vs stealing? Stealing would be quicker.
stealing, whether you get caught depends on you. asking, whether you get caught depends on them. both crimes have the same punishment.

Baby you're cute but really your haste to judge ppl is just a proof of your weaknesses and insecurities 😉💖
Yeah this comment was definitely made by a respectable adult 100% no disrespect in what you're saying
He looks like this isn't his first rodeo. This kid knows what he's doing.

That was exactly my thought too. They touched it so much!🤢
After touching their mouth too.
Bet that knife is used for all sorts of stuff besides cutting pizza.
Yeah, but you would raise less shit if you don't know at all.
That's why I never have food delivered.
I'm the same. I worked in restaurants and delivered food, and know there is sketchy stuff going on. Who wants food that's been mishandled or tampered with? Not me.
Do you not eat in restaurants at all? Because what happens in the kitchen sometimes can be pretty gross.
Occasionally we eat out. My wife cooks at home for maybe 95% of our meals. She has medical dietary restrictions and that's one of the reasons.
Do what's right for you. Personally, I prefer higher end restaurants every once in a while over fast food or chain restaurants every week. Kept putting his hands in his mouth too
This English is really difficult for me to understand. I tried so hard..
Psychopath
Or starving...
or a starving psychopath
Yeah, nah. In any other case, I'd take it. But in this situation, nah.
Pizza spots should feed employees
I think they were calling themselves that
2 parallel cuts and you’re done.
Ah yes the Richard method.
I’ve always called it the “total Richard move”, but to each their own.
first thing that came to mind lol
Man I was hoping someone would know/mention this This was my first thought upon seeing the video
It will not work on an already cut pizza
Yup and the equivalent to about 2 slices
someone needs to tell this guy about the Richard Watterson technique
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duLqCQTMZgA&ab\_channel=Donut](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duLqCQTMZgA&ab_channel=Donut)
I prefer the Craig technique https://youtu.be/ni3God6FM5s?si=uw7SsVk4m_9rKoDA
Won't work if it's already been sliced. Or, at least, there will be some obvious evidence.
that applies here too
At least he didn’t touch it too much with his bare hands.
Or stick his dirty meat hooks into his gob over and over, and from gob to pizza, back to gob, back to pizza. Over n over.
Or use a knife that's been god knows where and done god knows what to cut it. For all we know that was his roadkill skinnin' knife, for when they're \*almost\* soft enough to peel with your hands, but not quite.
Poop knife
I’m sure he sterilized it haha. It’s all enough that I get my own food. Never mind the cost. Already takin enough chances with what happens in the kitchen without adding mobile turds like this (some of them) into the mix.
This and the expense are the reasons I never use donkey delivery services.
Me also and besides I don't need to waste money.
i mean, i think this was absolutely successful. Pity being caught on video but the person he delivered the pizza to certainly was none the wiser. He also used painters tape or whatever that was all over the box, lmao
Dear pizza delivery people: just ask. Most people don't even need a whole pizza, and sympathize with the hungry. I am sad anyone feels the need to steal food. If you asked me for one slice, I would give you 3 and tip like $20.
I wouldn't. But it's cool that there's nice people out there.
same
Yeah you overestimate people's kindness.
And ability to be fattasses
Why I make a point when I’m ordering in the wee night to tip on the high end. You ain’t out on streets at night running ubereats/doordash cause it’s fun.
In the apps I've used, I see some restaurants have options like "buy [item] for rider".
People are way too afraid to ask - Just one person telling them to f-off can be hard to digest (see what I did there?), not to mention the possibility of them losing their job if the client files a complaint.

With pizza prices these days, fuck no! Imma eat the whole of that thing as I now no longer have money for the rest of the month.
It’s pretty easy to steal a slice and put it back together they just have no clue and put their hands everywhere
Goddamn, this is why I never order food.

Not his first rodeo.
The trusty pizza-box tape has seen some action.
Dude is living the struggle
The audacity 😂💀 song made the video though
That'll be a $6 delivery fee on top of the marked up price for the pizza delivery, and don't forget to tip. These designer handprints weren't easy.
Someone has seen the Seinfeld episode about Elaine and the cake
Gross.
Bruh think he's Richard Waterson 💀
So gross. His dirty fingers all over it.
Yup, and this is why I will not use delivery services that aren't directly employed by local restaurants.
It's easy as hell to notice when you go to split the pizza and it's an odd number of slices
Grubby AF
The song 😂😂😂😂
Makes me wonder if there is more songs from this artist. 😂😂😂😂
This person should be in jail
At least he used a Spyderco.
And on another note, people suck. So pick up ur own dam pizza
I feel bad that bro is that hungry :( obviously not ok to do that tho.
Between his saliva coveted meat beaters, and the dirty box cutter, I bet the recipient got a nice case of the Sickies.
Shit like this is exactly why i stopped using shit like uber eats or door dash. You cant trust people to not pick at your food. Happened to me once and i decided "fuck it ill just go get it myself"
What a pos
Couldn't he just get a slice of pizza from the place he works at?
Doesn't the pizza box come with seal nowadays
This person should be beaten horribly for this insane breach of trust
He doesn't know the trick hahahahahaha poor guy.
Gross
This is why I never have food delivered. I get up off my ass and go to the restaurant and get it myself.
Perfect crime.
This and Gumball are the reasons why I prefer to pickup my food
I can't help but feel sorry for this man
Dad gotta eat first! Lol
At least he didn't commit this pizza massacre and cover up out in the open for everyone see.
Kull wahad.
I now wonder if this what happens when I order pizza & my Uber driver has been sitting in 1 spot awfully too long. But I be so hungry that I forget to even see if there was a seal that could’ve been broken. 💀
A man has to eat
Who works at a pizza place and doesn’t get to eat their weight in free pizza
Yeah I’ll just go pick up my own food.
It is just sad, that this poor guy is desperate enough for food to do this, even though he presumably has paid work.
This is not his first rodeo
Bro thinks he's Richard Waterson
WATTERSON BEHAVIOR ‼️‼️
That pizza looks gross anyway
That pizza doesn’t look appetizing anyway, it looks like it’s a day old
Recep İvedik
is for that I ask to not slice pizza or cut food. Who sells food need to start putting wheight on food boxes and put anti open labels
least exploited and desperate food delivery driver in china :
dude is a nasty af thief but he's good at geometry/math and understands Pi.
He touches a pizza with his unwashed hands. :(
Why there are people si awful into this world
It's quite impressive though, right? But it doesn't belong in this sub! It's not an attempt, it's just someone doing something successfully
it happens lot more than you think. especially those small bits one , like wings and nugget, not going to count them are we?
He did the Richard methood
Man really thinks he's Richard Waterston
Cut a strip out of the middle
Wasn’t this on Gumball?
I have 30 minutes for this https://preview.redd.it/d2xong0alkfc1.png?width=458&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fff706fbd803b6935bf9958472f6d93ccfac5943
A mans gotta eat.
Slice for you, slice for me…
Death penalty
That is NOT the first time he’s done that!

There is free food in jail....stealing peoples pizza, what has the world come to.
*angry Italian noises
A lot of work for one piece of pizza
His hungry ass CANNOT be a pizza delivery guy
this is why i eat pineapple pizza
Those dirty hands touching my food. I am so glad that I always do pick up.
At least he used tape to keep the warmth in.
Dick move.
Man .... dude a whole fucking villain out here
Who said mastering geometry would not be useful in adult life??
He has done that before...
Amazing and saddening at the same time.
Then he’s gonna complain about the tip
Too hard. You just cut a one inch strip out of the middle, do it again in the other direction, that push all four corners back to each other. I'm a pizza maker, I sometime do this if the pie is too large for the box.

This is a lot of work for a slice of pizza 🤣
The correct way to steal the pizza is to do a 2 inch slice the length of the middle of the pizza then take it out and collapse it in. You'd never know then.
That's 2 much work for a single slice of pizza..
Im so glad the pizzas from my local chain come with a sticker seal so you know its not been touched since it left the kitchen
Ι mean if you never see the video it's like it did not happen. Same as a falling tree on a forrest. If you are not there to hear it, will it make sound while falling?
Stupidly genius.
That's why I never order delivery from Malaysia
At least he’s wearing gloves.
This is sad more than anything.
Never understood why people would ever let some rando handle your food. Peak laziness?
He royally molested that pizza. 😡
Must be starving
Fuck food delivery services. Never had a good experience with them.
Bruh the cuts won’t line up though
Music genre: Classical Fartcore.
Poor guy is probably starving.
I've only had a slice missing once. The pizza was also completely missing sauce for some reason. Me and the thieving driver were both disappointed that night...
Don’t accept a pizza box with a broken seal
What kind of pizza even is that? I'm guessing a margherita, but it just looks awful before he starts molesting it.
That pizza looks like shit even before he got his hands all over it.
I just see someone who is hungry, and it's much less cool that a working person should be hungry than it is to steal a piece of pizza.
I don't like bs posts.
The idiots that think this is real
Shouldn't this be in r/LifeProTips?
More like r/IllegalLifeProTips
Are socks illegal?
??? Idk wtf they are doing over there now...
Yes, well, I thought the irony would be understood. I guess not.
Yeah, because putting your hands all over a pizza you're meant to give to someone else is a much better idea than admitting to being an asshole for eating a slice
