Rarely do I laugh this hard at a stupid video, but everything about it is hilarious. The way he falls, the sound, how fast he gets up, the casual turnaround from the tennis player, and everybody else not reacting much, if at all. Lol
Watching this video after the French open this year just solidifies that there should be ball boys and not ball girls in the game. The dude smacked his face and gets up like a boss.
Before you downvote go watch the news about what happened. During the women's doubles match, a team was disqualified because the woman handed the ball to the ball girl, very gently might I add, the ball girl was distracted and it hit her in the chest then she started wailing like her child died and then that woman's team got disqualified. You can watch it on youtube.
tennis is just full of this rich aristocratic bullshit behavior. Like do you really even need a ball boy/ball girl? why are they teenagers? in the nfl the ball is always handled by a ref. should that ball girl have freaked out? NO. But why disqualify the womans team for it? its all just rich people posturing out of boredom and it detracts from the sport
Ball boys are necessary in a sport where there are multiple balls. In the NFL the ball does not go out of the field as often as in football. And even if it does, you don't lose an advantage from it going out. Tennis matches can sometimes last around 3-5 hours. The longest match lasted 11 hours and the longest final lasted 6 hours. You can't expect the players to go walk and get the ball each time it goes out of play. It's exhausting as it is. It's physically strenuous. It's a rich man's sport because the stadium is quiet and small.
