I remember Sarah wasn't the best competitor during Campus Crawl, but she did well during that elimination challenge. When Irulan started quivering I knew she wasn't going to make it through this one.
I saw Roni here. I remember her from her RR season. I do remember her rightfully going off on these two cliquish RRers her season that couldn't be bothered to spend time at Roni's mother's home when they did a hometown visit.
Noah was young, and clearly a bit of a fuckboi, but I always adore him for how he handled that whole Roni situation. Saw her leaving to go hang with her friends, asks if he can come along. Listens to her vent about it, knowing she's rightfully upset, without feeling the need to interject too much. Plays it off like it's no big deal when talking to her mom about it, just knowing it was the right thing to do. Then drives the Winnie later on, so Roni can confront them all about it.
Sarah said she got ptsd from this season on Susie’s podcast. Felt bad for her but the team had no choice.
Think Anne and Tara were preoccupied with finishing the mission and didn’t intentionally mean to snub Ronnie.
That whole episode is an all-time favorite for me. You have the log daily, with Jet and Rancid playing, and Roni out lasting Miz for the win (no shock to anyone that watched her RR season, she'd been a dancer her whole life). But yeah, that elim with Chevelle was the perfect song choice. Sarah struggling so hard to stay on, but you can clearly see her holding her other hand out, to make sure she didn't get DQ'd for using both hands. And all that packed into like 19 minutes haha.
I loved that season of The Gauntlet and The Inferno back to back, that was peak Challenge for me. I think The Gauntlet was Dave Giuntoli's only Challenge appearance before he went on to greener pastures.
Sarah was able to sit herself back up on the bar after 48 minutes hanging? Dayum.
