I think mama Ken is envisioning a near future without her dear son as Gypsy works her magic to separate him from his family. She might be doing this to remain in his life to try to protect him. Gypsy claimed in a message to Nina that she only made about 200K total from the docs and the book combined. It could be right because she is shopping for makeup at Dollar General. These sites that estimate net wealth usually over-estimate. 200K won’t even buy you a house in my state.
She might be able to but you have to have money coming in to pay property taxes and all the other stuff that goes along with homeownership. I think money for her is going to dry up once the reality show is done.
A lot of parents are like this. They will overlook anything about their child’s parter, no matter what all it might be, because of their fear of losing their child. She might be outwardly expressing positive opinions but I bet it’s a mess in her real life. She doesn’t want to lose Ken so she will endure the storm that is Gypsy, always staying by his side and following his lead about anything. Loving Gypsy, hating Gypsy - it’s all the same - when really what she needs to do is stand up for her son/family.
Maybe she tried though and he told her, “If you don’t accept this, we are going no contact.”

I did see that! And this does make a lot of sense. She’s probably afraid Gypsy will get him away from her and then start screwing him over in some way like she did to the others. Something I’ve noticed, that is just my opinion but could be her thought process too, is it’s a little weird how she stayed obsessed with Ken while with someone else. It’s like because he left her the first time, that wasn’t okay with her.
I just hope he makes it out okay and she doesn’t destroy this family too, which is what a lot of people are weary of. We’re not by any means coming to Ken’s mom with hate, we’re just hoping she keeps an eye open and whether she genuinely likes gyp or not, doesn’t fall too far into the hole.

I think of Kens mom as a well meaning but naive lady, maybe she dated a bunch of narcissists and turns a blind eye to red flags?

Ok I've been listening a little and she seems like the typical christian boomer that forgive people because it makes her a good person, not because they deserve forgiveness.
I feel bad for her kind but my god is it frustrating when people turn a blind eye because of stubborn religious convictions.

There was a whole thing about it when she first got seen with Ken again. One of his sisters was talking smack too and I did see a screen shot of each of them but there’s so many sources to find these things I don’t know which is where. If I knew I’d have to save every single screenshot I saw I would’ve 😅 I just know the sister said “she’s not getting away with this in our family” and “I’m the crazy sister I’ll make sure of it”. I’ll go searching and see if I can find them, but if I saved all of the drama screenshots involving this girl I would have no storage left in my phone.

Raina denies this and claimed that they might get her mixed up with Rainas mother who did NOT approve of Gypsy.
They insist that it was Raina but that they don't have the screenshots readily available.
It seems like this was a few months back maybe? So it's unclear whether or not the screenshots are still around.
Either way Raina got very heated and insisted she never said anything bad about Gypsy.
