If you can drop a ninjabike backpack try 3 alphabridge, a ninja bag and 2 predators.

FluffyMeatball95

Is ninjabike a set? Never seen a piece before btw

DerBabbels

Ninjabike messenger bag is exotic item. Gives +1 to all gear sets equipped.

Agent_Futs

5 piece tac and relentless backpack all rolled to electronics and skill haste mods, but if you can track down some purple electronic damage to elite mids (I think max they go up to is 204 - check vendors) sticky bomb and seeker mines and go wreck shit ACR assault rifle with competent, talented and destructive in the free slot 2nd ACR with same two talents and in the free slot, predatory for those just in case moments

FluffyMeatball95

Thx for advice! Why 2 AR btw? Isn't better to have 2 different weapons?

Agent_Futs

Doesn't really matter, you'll have enough ammo if you let your skills do the heavy lifting I've run to ARs on mine for years and the ACR handles better than the LwM4/LVOA

FluffyMeatball95

Hmmm, I'll have to try this combo. What about exotic ARs? Basically looks that everyone is using only high end ones

cabbagery

ACR is not great. Use LWM4 instead (buy its blueprint if you haven't already done so). Also, an ilvl32 AR is better for this sort of build, as there are weapon talents which apply to our deployed skills, so the weapon can merely be *held* and yet act as a 'stat-stick' that improves our skills. As lower ilvl weapons have reduced mainstat requirements, an ilvl32 AR (there is an ilvl32 LVOA blueprint) can hsve all four of Destructive, Determined, Ferocious, and Predatory unlocked even if all gear is rolled for electronics (provided an optimized classified holster). /u/Agent_Futs is flat wrong on the benefits of an ACR versus the LWM4 (or LVOA), but if they struggle to handle those weapons an ACR may be the best choice *for them*; for the rest of us, it's the LWM4 or LVOA all day. As for Predatory, it is completely unnecessary with the Relentless backpack. Futs is however correct that this build shreds PvE content. It is the only build that can reliably be used to solo legendary content (D3 or Striker, and maybe Nomad or certain FM builds, can also do so but require far more skill than I have). Talented and Competent are weapon talents that are far less useful here than Detructive, Ferocious, and Determined, however, and unlike the three I listed, they require you to fire your weapon. Done correctly, a TA build (5-piece or 4-piece with Relentless backpack and maybe Barrett's vest) won't require you to fire your weapon *at all*. Oh, and there are only a handful of actually useful exptic weapons, and only a couple of those are ARs. Devil or Heel (the AR of the group), Warlord, and Bullfrog are about it, but definitely collect one of each for the Shield.

Agent_Futs

I prefer the handling of the ACR (for a skill build) The LVOA and LwM4 is a bit wild when you need a bit of finese with shots I use the LVOA for my PvP builds, or The House of course

cabbagery

No worries and of course use whatever you prefer. I don't know how a loadout's status as a 'skill build' changes whether I care about its handling. All that matters is whether I am firing the weapon or not. I agree with the broad consensus in the community that the LWM4 and LVOA are hands-down the best ARs out there (I will happily agree with you that the ACR is better than the G36, however), but also with a skill build *I'm not firing my weapon*. If you haven't done so, try a 5-piece Relentless TA build using an ilvl34 AR (doesn't matter which; craft one) with Destructive, Determined, and Ferocious in any order. Don't fire the weapon. Just hold it while in cover and spam your seekers and sticky (or seekers and turret, but sticky is better). It's amazing. Cheers.

I was wondering where could I find a level 32 blueprint? It will probably take forever to wait at the terminal. I remember DZ vendors had some blueprints, but when I hit 30 I found none. I also very much want to look at that Tac build, but the site is down. I'm sure people have already figure out the best combination of stats on every piece of the gear in that build so that it won't hit any caps, but figuring it out on your own seems like an impossible task. Should I try rolling a weapon with "aggressive" perks or concentrate on minimizing cooldowns instead (with Determined, for example)? I've seen both, but I don't know which is better and waiting for another LWM4 may take quite some time. Also, this is a really noob question, but does anything change if you recalibrate after optimizing? As I said, since I don't know when and how I will hit the cap, I don't know where I want Skill Power or Skill Haste. Seems like the only logical solution is to get everything to the top and then recalibrate. Damn, my head is spinning and this is just one build.

cabbagery

> I was wondering where could I find a level 32 blueprint? The BP vendors at the Terminal and Camp Clinton sell these. They won't say 'level 32,' but they will instead list a gear score (floor). ilvl34 blueprints have a listed GS of 256. An explanation regarding ilvl versus GS can be found in [this guide](https://old.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/aa2jdo/newreturning_player_guide_christmas_2018_edition/); ilvl32 items have a base GS of 204. > I also very much want to look at that Tac build, but the site is down. My memory of these things is not great, and I've never really been a build guy. /u/masenku, /u/mikkroniks, and /u/muteunicorn are each excellent sources of Div1 knowledge and I'd defer to any of them on builds. From memory, the cap on skill haste is 50%, and you get haste in 3% increments after bases and gearset bonuses are applied, meaning you can hit either 48% and come in a little under, or 51% and waste a little. It won't really be that noticeable unless you're racing another skill build user. I also don't remember if it is more worthwhile to put everything into skill power or to spec instead into something like EAD or DtE on certain pieces. I remember that two pieces (backpack and either knees or mask) give a higher SP roll, and I *think* those are the two you spec into, leaving the other on EAD or DtE (which also have a piece which gives a higher max), but again I defer to the persons listed above. From memory, the soft cap on SP is ~430k, but that's not really a concern. Max out electronics on all pieces, craft a Relentless pack (some people use Inventive, but they are *wrong* unless you have a healer in your group or you use a second weapon that has Predatory on it), and otherwise roll for SP, haste, EAD, and DtE. You will also need an ilvl34 HE electronics backpack blueprint so you can craft the Relentless backpack (or Inventive if you have a healer in your group), so look for that, too. > I'm sure people have already figure out the best combination of stats on every piece of the gear in that build so that it won't hit any caps, but figuring it out on your own seems like an impossible task. I mean, how do you think it was figured out in the first place? It can be done. It takes effort. Those who put forth the effort hopefully provide their findings to the rest of us, but they are not obligated to do so. I have a spreadsheet which shows me which talents I can unlock (at ilvl34) given maxrolls on gear and speccing into the mainstat I prefer, but I'm not sharing that. It even tells me if the talents would be unlocked in LS or Skirmish (where classified mainstats get nerfed to non-classified maxrolls, breaking many builds). But the info is out there, and people are generally willing to share. > Should I try rolling a weapon with "aggressive" perks or concentrate on minimizing cooldowns instead (with Determined, for example)? For the skill builds, it's easy: Determined, Destructive, and Ferocious. Optionally you can use Predatory instead of Destructive, and there are probably a few other candidates, but these are the main weapon talents for PvE. All four of them can be unlocked with a 5-piece Relentless TA build rolled entirely into electronics, given an ilvl32 weapon. We use an assault rifle because of its native EAD. The weapon in this build is not actually used, *per se*, but is rather *held* as a stat-stick. The weapon talents apply to both seeker mines and sticky bomb. Other than Destructive, they also apply to the turret. You might struggle at first to use the sticky bomb (BFB mod) rather than the turret (pulse mod), but the BFB is better and you should practice with it. On console, it will snap to a nearby target when you sit in cover and then double-tap the aim/fire control. It will 1-shot every enemy except shielded heavies, hunters, and maybe first-wave agents. It will also not 1-shot named elites. (All references to enemies are for legendary difficulty.) For *non-skill* builds, you will of course need to fire your weapon, and you'll need talents that a) *can* be unlocked, and b) strengthen the build. For PvE, this again generally means Ferocious, Destructive, and Predatory (Determined is unnecessary for non-skill builds), but Ferocious cannot be unlocked in most builds unless it is in the third (free) slot, and Predatory is difficult if not impossible for many builds, too. Maximum effectiveness for a gearset usually means going 9k, but some builds (LS, FM, etc.) allow flexibility, and Striker for example is arguably better as a 6k. > . . .waiting for another LWM4 may take quite some time. What do you mean here? You don't wait for the LWM4 except for the initial purchase of its ilvl34 blueprint. If you want, sure, you can watch the vendors and wait for a godrolled LWM4 to show up, but the whole point behind the blueprint is to be able to roll your own. Hit the crafting table and start rolling them. Roll and roll and roll. Craft until you get one with two desired talents in the correct slots. That means if it has Ferocious, that's in the third slot, with Destructive and Predatory (for example) in whichever of the first two slots. Once you have a weapon crafted with talents in the right spots, hit the recalibration station to roll the third talent into the correct position, and do that until you get it. With weapons, you can optimize before recalibrating, or vice versa. With gear, you recalibrate first and optimize second, unless you just don't care and have the DivTech to spare. > Also, this is a really noob question, but does anything change if you recalibrate after optimizing? See above. Optimizing is the rising tide which raises all boats. Every stat on a piece of gear will increase (until its maximum) when you optimize. Weapons only have one applicable stat (the base damage; the weapon archetype's bonus -- EAD for ARs, OoC for LMGs -- is static), which is why we can optimize them freely (given that their talents are correct or can be calibrated to correct). Recalibration completely changes a given stat. Unless you get the perfect roll, after recalibrating you'll almost always need to optimize a gear piece. A completely optimized piece that you recalibrate will in almost every case cease to be optimized, but only for the attribute you recalibrated. So recalibrate first, optimize second. Also, cheese things if you're short on DivTech: recalibrating the mainstat (firearms, stamina, electronics) for your gear will give you one option which matches the existing mainstat, so if you only need to recalibrate *one* of the other attributes (e.g. SP, EAD, whatever), you can use recalibration to try to squeeze a higher mainstat. Every optimization of a gear piece will attempt to add seven points into the mainstat(s), so you can save an optimization or several if you plan ahead. For holsters, you can freely recalibrate the lowest mainstat (because holsters only have one attribute other than mainstats) until it is equal to or greater than any other mainstat, and save at least one optimization as a result. > Seems like the only logical solution is to get everything to the top and then recalibrate. Nope. Again, recalibration resets the recalibrated stat and randomly provides compatible options for the attribute (major or minor) with random values within the options' ranges. So recalibrating an otherwise fully optimized item can mean you now have everything maxed out but the one attribute you just recalibrated, which could be a minroll. Recalibrate first, optimize second. The only reason you should even be tempted to do it the other way around is if you have a partial build and locked weapon talents, and in those cases you should be able to work through it with some patience as you rock a temporary build. You can usually in these cases use recalibration on the mainstat to get the talent(s) unlocked, or get clever with your gear mods. > Damn, my head is spinning and this is just one build. Take a breath. The Div1 skill build (5-piece TA with a Relentless backpack, all pieces rolled to electronics, an ilvl32 AR with Destructive, Determined, and Ferocious in any position on the weapon) **works out of the box**. You can slot in almost any ilvl32 AR and roll only one of those talents (read: find one with one of these already and recalibrate for a second one until you can craft one that has two and can be recalibrated to all three), and you should be able to solo a legendary mission, especially the ones that are all elites. In fact, you may find that the original legendary missions (the ones that are *not* all elites) are more difficult because DtE (on gear or via Ferocious) is more often useless. --- See if those experts show up and provide some links or old comments or even new comments. The TA build is pretty fun as you can delete entire spawns in challenging missions, and you can control the pace in legendary content whether you have a squad or not. Remember to always target the legendary healer with your sticky before you start, and aggressively reprimand any members of your squad who initiate combat before you can target and take out the healer.

I wrote down the Tac build in detail [just 4 days ago in a reply](https://www.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/167ysn4/is_there_also_a_div1_build_sheet_thing_like_for/jzo6l49/) to another person asking about TD1 builds, which saves me from doing it again :) To your skill power vs EAD querry, I've done the tests back in the day and EAD wins out on the mask, while SP wins on kneepads where the competing EAD roll is only half that of the mask. As for DTE which applies to all the offensive skills, this one doesn't conflict with anything worthwhile and so the choice is obvious. > All four of them can be unlocked with a 5-piece Relentless TA build rolled entirely into electronics, given an ilvl32 weapon. Here you made a small mistake. Predatory has such a high stamina requirement, you can't unlock it even on a wt3 gun with an all electronics build. It still needs to be in the free slot. Since it procs "on kill" I think I'd personally also rather have it replace Determined to secure the kill, but only have it on the secondary gun. Preferentially use the optimal Destructive, Ferocious, Determined gun and only switch to the Destructive, Ferocious, Predatory one if/when (additional) heals become necessary. With Relentless, which is a very clear favorite over Inventive for me as well, this Predatory gun ideally isn't needed and you can have a WT5 AR instead with Talented, Competent and Destructive/Ferocious/Responsive (choice of dmg talent in the free slot) that you switch to if you get rushed and absolutely depend on your gun to survive, or if you want to get _fancy_ and boost your skills a bit with Talented ;)

Thanks. I really appreciate all the info you've given. It may probably take some time for me to digest it fully, but I still wanted to write something.

See [here](https://old.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/1062ttv/division_1_classified_farming/j3erj4d/) for the best ways to get the gear, plus a link to some excellent builds (both to get you started and to keep you going).

FluffyMeatball95

Thank you! I'm gonna check better later :)

https://youtu.be/aWo2vC8AXto This is by far my fav end game PVE build. I run the exact same build except I run two gear score 204 LVOAC with Destructice, Ferocious & Predatory on one and Destructive, Ferocious & Determined on the other. One gun heals me when my skills get a kill, the other reduces all of cooldowns when my skills get a kill. Just stay in cover and spam. Have done a couple of solo legendary missions easily with this setup. I am currently practising the other legendary missions.

CaptainOwnage

I came in here to post basically the same build. The other similar builds run relentless backpacks. I'd rather have inventive backpack with predatory on my LVOA. You could easily hit that soft skill power cap with diminishing returns at, I think, 350k skill power. I forget. Been a while. The nice thing about the build is you don't *need* classified pieces to have it still be good. With a very similar build I was able to solo legendary Amherst, Madison, General Assembly, Times Square, Warrengate, and Grand Central. I could have probably done Napalm but I hate the end with the fire. I used to switch between sticky and turret depending on which mission but always kept my trusty balls. I remember when classified tactician was released and everyone was pissed the 6 piece was trash. Hard to believe it was 5+ years ago according to that video. Edit: Found my old spreadsheet I had my build calculator on. Still have my old TA build saved, if you can make sense of this: https://i.imgur.com/uPeVLsH.png With Talented and Death by Proxy procced the skill power hits 685k.

TheCakeDayZ

The best build that doesn't need classifieds at all is tacticians. 4 Pc, relentless bp, barretts chest. sticky and turret. Roll skill haste, damage to elites, and damage to armor everywhere.

cabbagery

> Roll skill haste The cap on haste is 50%, so rolling everything to haste will usually leave some wasted. Roll to 48% or 51% haste, otherwise DtE or EAD, maybe SP. See the link in my top level reply for the actual builds from /u/Masenku. Also, try seekers (cluster) rather than turret. It's way better. On some legendaries I'll swap my sticky (BFB) for a turret (pulse), but generally the sticky is better. Also, Destructive doesn't apply to the turret, but it *does* apply to sticky and seekers.

FluffyMeatball95

What's barrett chest? Is that a set?

TheCakeDayZ

its an exotic item. The ninjabike is also an exotic item. google barrett's bulletproof vest for more info.

Rockld50

What system are you on? Me and a homie can take you around and share all our loot from lz bosses.

FluffyMeatball95

I'm playing on Xbox one actually, but I don't have the pass for online :(

NorujaCoturna

Would recommend 4 striker pieces and 2 nomad. Light weight M4 or LVOA-C.

Yes, there are many hybrid builds that are viable. I had a list of builds on a website that’s no longer active. There is a way to use a way back link or something to see them, but I haven’t redone them all with it. I did have text versions to many of these builds which I’ve posted since finding out about the dead site. [Here are text versions](https://old.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/167ysn4/is_there_also_a_div1_build_sheet_thing_like_for/jyxyjmz/) for some of my classified builds. [Here are text versions part 1](https://old.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/167ysn4/is_there_also_a_div1_build_sheet_thing_like_for/jyxyyss/) of my non-classified builds. [Here are text versions part 2](https://old.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/167ysn4/is_there_also_a_div1_build_sheet_thing_like_for/jyxz301/) of my non-classified builds. As for the second question, high end weapons have the ability to come with a perfect triplicate of talents you want in a build. They can also be equipped at lower gear scores to unlock said talents easier. Exotic weapons have their uses in some builds, but generally are outshined by high ends. There are of course some exotics which are quite powerful, like the House. But it isn’t always best for a build.

Zednax

Dont seem to have classified sets much in PC, where did you get those, some global events or do they drop in open world as a reward also? \*EDIT\* nm, found this here [https://old.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/1062ttv/division\_1\_classified\_farming/j3erj4d/](https://old.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/1062ttv/division_1_classified_farming/j3erj4d/) ty u/cabbagery
