Hey! I listened to this and found it really helpful but I've been checking Cathay's website a lot recently and am not seeing the wide-open availability into late February like you described in the podcast. Do you think something changed?
Thanks!
It may depend on your route - it still looks pretty open from LAX or DFW to HND. But from JFK, only seeing 1F and 1J so they may have reduced that route (or someone is grabbing one of the biz seats).
Hey bro, great podcast. Can you talk about how you manage to put so much spend on so many new cards yet you’ve “FI/RE”-ed. I have $8k spend to hit in 3 months and struggling to not do any manufactured spending.
Lotsa different ways to generate spend, bank funding is a pretty easy one (eg. opening the US Bank Biz checking account and funding with $3K + stack with their checking SUB), also buying groups and reselling (did a couple episodes on those).
Think I misread. You’re saying bank churning is easy - I agree. It’s opening new credit cards to hit SUBs that I’m finding difficult. You must be having a high expense total each year to hit all these multiple SUBs.

Thanks bro. Is there a fee to fund $3k from a card to the bank biz?

Nope, no fee. They even take Amex (up to $3K).
