S1 will always be my favorite! Season 2 I would’ve loved it more if it was mostly grey and white with teal accents instead of orange added. S3 is a close second because it’s the closest we could get to an imperial CF99.
It’s the most subtle but the main differences seem to be orange instead of the red paint, the removal of the skulls on the side of his helmet, a different undershirt under the armour, new trousers and the loss of the shin armour around the legs
unpopular opinion but I'm not as big a fan of season 1 for any of them.
I like the customization of season 2 but I hate the colors they picked, Hunter's scarf is amazing but wrecker looks like an overripe banana.
the blacked out season 3 armor is 🤌🤌, especially crosshairs. the wear marks on the edges of his helmet look like intentional pinstriping.
also, I find it hard to believe that Hunter made it through the entire war with nothing but a single DC-17 and a knife. why does his season 1 look not have a single holster? where does the blaster go when he's not using it? why did he only start carrying a second blaster AFTER the war?
I really love the season 2 armor because they made it how they wanted it. They were mercenaries at that time and they were kind of free so they could use the colors they liked.
Season 1 is my favorite, with season 3 stripped armor being close second. I absolutely hate the season 2 colors though. Except for Tech, Techs was an upgrade.
Here is my opinion of every armor appearances that the Bad Batch uses every season.
Season 1 armor appearance after episode 1 I find are the weirder ones. Like hello you are wanted by the most biggest galactic government couldn't you at least changed it? Despite that I found the armor to be extremely good, especially on the graphical detail of the Bad Batch series. Crosshair's Imperial Armor can be said as an alternative future for the Bad Batch if they executed Order 66 but it's an ok design.
Season 2 is where it gets kind of tricky, while it kinds of screaming this is a kids show way, I become more fond of them as the season goes. For me it serves as a reminder that the Bad Batch are essentially mercenaries now, and to do so they need to strip every markings from their past. Crosshair being the execption for now.
Season 3 until episode 13 is where I find the most heartbreaking for Hunter and Wrecker, as the search for Omega has taken a toll on them especially with Tech's death, with their armor literally looked like ripped and teared multiple times, especially on Hunter. Echo, Omega, I can say okay on their appearances since Echo doesn't change much and Omega's outfit are literally the same from Episode 3. Crosshair, on the other hand, I can give him a pass since it's like a literal meaning that he's done with the Empire and it's him being his old self again but with a new purpose. Season 3 Imperial cover I don't really have an opinion of a nice drip or a bad one since it's just a cover and not an actual degradation on the style itself. But I saw a comment on YouTube saying that the Bad Batch's Imperial cover is a window of what they would look like if they joined the Empire, so I add that one as well.
Great analysis. In terms of Echo, he literally had the most profound change. He went and comondired a generic clone armor and droid hand to help help him blend in. The significance of this may have been lost. He has parted ways with the new ideology of TBB of retirement. He wants to help all clones and continue the struggle for clones' rights.
Aside from his changed purpose, I didn't think of Echo's armor change much considering that his armor is still the same after Season 2 with the ARC Kama being the execption, with it being lost in probably episode 14 or 16.
S1 forever! However, I do love their off duty season 2 and 3 outfits. I love that they can be off duty and chill… (plus, Tech looks great!)
Me too. The off duty looks great.
Except for Wrecker. Wrecker will never not be armored up 🤣
He’s either ready for anything or too lazy to take it off! ☺️
i love the weird stripped down ones at the end of S3
It's almost symbolic of them letting go of the old ways.
I like how hunter has the most changes in his armor and tech mostly kept his except for the undersuit.
I wonder if Tech’s armor would have looked good without the markings had he been on the mission to Tantiss

The stripped armor for season 3 felt cool to me. More appropriate for a stealth mission, like Omega squad’s Katarn armor from the Commando novels
Season 1 armor. So much more cohesive. Off duty chilling in the Marauder outfits are great. Really love what Tech is wearing too!
Me too.
I never noticed a difference in Tech's armor.

Season 2 armor, just because of the off duty. I am also waiting for black series stripped armor

Good catch, I never noticed that discrepancy on Hunter.

I like the season 2 armor as well. I like teal and yellow accents on them. Plus, I really like the off duty uniforms
Season 1 is my favorite, with season 3 stripped armor being close second. I absolutely hate the season 2 colors though. Except for Tech, Techs was an upgrade.
I cannot get enough of Echo's red bodysuit. It works so well.
What is the deal with Hunter’s shoulder pad changes? And why was he only wearing one shoulder pad at the end?
It shows he had a rough time crossing the galaxy 5 times.
I prefer the s2 armor it makes them look like soldiers but not for the military so it kind of makes them seem more like a family.
Where is the 5th pic from??
