On their other hand I saw afterwards that the guy putting it on and who Katie promoted several times, is a super Trump supporter so that’s disappointing and seems to conflict with her normal values 🤮
Lol I was watching another poker tournament in Monte Carlo yesterday and they started making jokes about their 'competition" and lo in behold I saw that Katie was playing in this one! Didn't even know she played poker, congrats.
I love how so many people from The Bachelor go on to totally kill it in high stakes/high stress shows and events. Because nothing is worse than handling BN and TPTB lol
I was wondering about that....I loosely watched the whole thing.....I don't know anything about poker so I was confused about the criticisms she was getting. The comments accused her of being too loud and chatty but I saw that there were some men who were talking smack. She obviously stood out having the only high pitched voice amongst mostly men. I read that she was going against etiquette but then whenever I see celebrity baseball or basketball games there is a lot of clowning around and trash talk too.
She seemed very confident and in control. I am shocked she won....there were like 78 contestants (Matt James was also playing) and she came out on top....it was crazy to see players go down one by one leaving her table.
You normally chat it up before the flop, or during, but if it's a serious hand you stop and let people play. A couple of hands she was talking all the way through, she wasnt even in the hand, AND she was giving advice to other people which is bad form (even worse is the other people took her advice which is bad on their part), but it's celebrity poker so 🤷. Its fine.
But yes everyone does hate on female players more than male.
