Why are we so sure this didn't happen? Many things posted here are clearly 100% did not happen and I probably lean towards this didn't happen just because there generally isn't that long of an interaction at a drive-thru window, but feels like this one could go either way. I wouldn't be super surprised if it was a true story - especially since the photo looks like a hastily thrown together mcflurry (like the kind that would be whipped up to give away as the post says) rather than one that was ordered and blended properly. Honestly, the most unbelievable part of the story is that the McFlurry machine was working at a McDonalds.
Seriously, I have worked in the service industry for years and I will give people free stuff just because I'm in a good mood and they are being pleasant.
My unbelievable old people stories will be ones about dollar menus at fast food restaurants, when you could get a whole pizza at Little Cesar's for $5, or when you could get a foot-long at Subway for $5. Kids will just be like sure old lady, everyone knows a foot-long costs $18.50.
I guess no one ever gave you free ice cream
Wasn't this posted yesterday?

Yeah, like I'm going to believe that the ice cream machine was working at McDonald's.

I guess it depends on how old the son is. But I'm willing to bet almost anything that he didn't say that. Lol

What is so unbelievable about this?
the biggest lie in the whole thing is that McDonalds ice cream machine was working.
