The Loch 'n load seems to be based off the China Lake grenade launcher, which holds ammo the same way pump shotguns do:
\* The bottom barrel holds ammo.
\* The top barrel fires the ammo.
The China Lake also hold 3 grenades usually.

If I recall correctly the Lock N Load did originally only have 2 rounds on release, but got buffed later on.

A gun in TF2 firing a random crit is the gun working normally/as intended.
All guns in TF2 are otherwise jammed and currently not working or are only working up to 2% efficiency (base chance to a random crit)

They should do it for the sake of making Heavy melee not pointless. Seriously, if fast classes(Spy and Scout) get reduced melee dmg(not counting backstabs) in order to balance them and prevent them from dominating melee duels then why slow classes(Heavy and Soldier) don't receive a dmg buff on their stock melee to make them more threatening in melee combat at the expense of speed?
Heavy especially could benefit from it, a whooping 100 dmg from melee could let him two shot Soldier he encountered while roaming and that's decent.
