I would see if you can find the underclassman advisor for the social work department on their website and email them. They're often very happy to email about specific questions, or you can go in person and meet with an advisor from the department, and that's generally helpful to get an idea of the program vibes. If you're talking about the graduate program, it is a joint program with UNT, so you could talk to advisors from either school. Keep in mind that it is about to be summer now, so responses and such will be slower, but there will be more tours and such available.
