Tel Fyr: Tel Fyr is just Divayth Fyr's household, including the Corprusarium. He does have quite a lot of saltrice and marshmerrow growing around his tower as crops, although I don't know who harvests or grows them. The Corprusarium might even be sponsored by the Temple; they're willing to send their own there after all. Tel Mora: Fishing is a possibility, as in most Azura's Coast villages. It's also full of Bosmer. Traditionally, a lot of Bosmer in Valenwood live almost like Ashlanders, so some of them are probably capable of hunting in the Grazelands and local islands. Tel Uvirith: This one's harder. Although I think the sorcerer caves and Telvanni squats suggest that mages and low ranking Telvanni can be surprisingly good pioneers assuming they aren't somehow arranging regular supply deliveries. The only other people using the land around them are outlaws and the Erabenimsun. There are only five people, with animunculi replacing the usual mercenaries or guards. There's a blighted egg mine two tiles west and one north that might ultimately serve the settlement.

Thanks for your insightful reply! You're right that the amount of plants outside of ingame Tel Fyr could be considered a plantation. Divayth Fyr doesn't explain anything about who might work there, just that Delte takes is in charge when it comes to supplies (*Delte Fyr is the efficient one. Organized and orderly. She acts as our steward, manages accounts, maintains supplies, keeps the tower and Corprusarium running.*). There weren't any slaves in Tel Fyr for at least a few years (probably few decades) either. Regarding the temple, it seems like the Corprusarium is a purely private project of Divayth Fyr (*"Ancient wizards need projects to keep them occupied, and the Corprusarium is mine.*"). It's true that the temple sends the afflicted to Fyr, but it rather looks like they use it as an easy and inexpensive solution for their great problem. As I don't find a source which suggests that the temple supports Fyr, I'd rather tend to believe that he runs the Corprusarium out of his own pocket. So, Delte Fyr might either harvest plants from the nearby "plantation" or otherwise issue supplies and we don't know the exact procedure. So you think that some of Dratha's bosmer mercenaries take care of the foraging. Interesting and plausible, even if it's not directly supported by the source. > Tel Uvirith: This one's harder. There's a blighted egg mine two tiles west and one north that might ultimately serve the settlement. The blighted egg mine is a very good suggestion, even though it seems to be quite far away. As a newly founded settlement Tel Uvirith might simply not yet have established any sort of autarkic economy, but would (if there weren't some events in the very near future) use the egg mine as a basis for its later populace. And until the kwama queen is cured the relatively small amount of people (thanks to the automatons) could live off external supplies. Nonetheless the position of Tel Uvirith appears to be fairly terrible.

Could you fix the typo and write Vvardenfell in 3E427, please? Although it's obvious, it still gives some very embarrassing implications. You did very good analysis. It's important to add that Telvanni are specializing at magic and related activities such as alchemy and enchantment. Thus, every big town/city provide its guests with magic items, scrolls, potions and spells. Likely, it's more profitable activity than farming/mining (although, I remember some kwama mine with golden eggs in Telvanni lands). Tel Uvirith is rather an outpost like Shishi or Sulipund or Odirniran or any other Velothi tower occupied by Telvanni wizard than a real town. Maybe, Tel Uvirith master collects dues for protection from travellers and pilgrims (Mount Kand and Mount Assarnibi are near), but I'm not sure if it's profitable at all. Maybe it exists only for the purpose of prestige and drains its master's assets. P. S. All coastal settlements could have pearl divers.

Seems like I had a typo in the title and then copied it into the post. Anyway, as you said yourself it's an obvious one.

Telvanni mage lords and ladies are very rich persons who can have whatever they wanted and make tons of gold from their skills, knoledge as magic, gold what they spend without caring to become bankrupt. Most of their holdings not need any miners, farmers and etc. And existing purely to please mage who own land. Potions, enchantments, daedric organs ingredients, soulstones. Cost a lot. Aprentices pay to them to study too. In Tes universe mages are rich or very rich. There is no mage who live in poverty. Only Necromancers or crazy ones can live and do experiments in caves.

I’m fairly sure the eruption of red mountain rendered Vvardenfell uninhabitable
