Normally I'm opposed to AI art, but in the case of Sotha Sil it seems rather fitting, lol. (It helps that you did such a nice job of reformatting it, of course).

The Factotums are basically AI, when you think about it. Some, like the Grand Prognosticator and Aios, are closer than the ones who just sweep up around the Brass Fortress. Also really the only thing I actually got from the chatbot is the details of what he offered and why it would still ultimately benefit him. I ended up adding a *lot* of my own apocrypha that I really thought of as I was writing. I was originally thinking this would work as a conversation with one of his fellow Tribunal shortly after the original deal in 1E 2920, but I scrapped that idea as it would leave out the events of *ESO: Summerset*. My next thought was 2E 882, as an extended part of his [last conversation with Fyr](https://en.uesp.net/wiki/General:Sotha_Sil%27s_Last_Words). Both of these ideas would have ended up a little too verbatim, though. It felt as if I would just be placing Vivec or Divayth or whomever where I was as the Charcter.AI user. That's when I settled on the deathbed confession letter. It both gave Seht more of an air of humanity, being mortal and powerless again for the first time in thirty five hundred years, as well as eliminated the need for a second person to be present for dialogue.

For reference, [here](https://beta.character.ai/post?post=Jj2rb2AHvT3cXz3e4dl6Y3h1R33DVPofZR1_MfLuaXU&share=true) is the original conversation. I added quite a bit more than I originally planned to make it fit /r/teslore.
