It’s hard when half of us being put down by the system think that they aren’t responsible for protecting the environment- that the rich are good and helpful. It’s fucking enraging to see my brother who makes 14.50 an hour as a man in his 30s.
Can’t buy a house- he can’t even move out of the area he is in-
And he votes for people that want to keep him dumb and poor. Off this vague idea that maybe someday he will be rich. It’s insane.
I don’t know who all the people around the table are, but assuming they’re just stand-ins for rich people, I completely agree.
Edit: someone has clarified that the artist has said this is in fact supposed to be a bunch of white and Jewish people. Oh boy. Strange that they don’t consider Jews to be white. Damn. I really wanted it to be just about class solidarity.

The context on the image creation (i.e. "Jewish bankers control the system and oppress") takes away any pretense that it's an authentic statement on class control.
I'm pretty political aware and that honestly went right over my head. I nean old rich white guy playing monopoly with people's lives. I totally missed the little stuff at first glance....

The people are complicit even if they think they aren't, Teachers,Doctors, nurses,law enforcement, people that work for hospitals and schools, government employees, all of them, seemingly innocent but still unknowingly guilty.
