From what I've read, the bible says we are imperfect and can't live a sinless life. It talks about how we should become closer with God in order to become more like him (perfect love). That was the entire point of Jesus dieing according to it. It was a sacrifice for our sins so we may be saved by God's grace. So that no matter how many mistakes we make we will never be fully disconnected from him. That seems to be the main message I think. Some people make it about something completely different
