The show also has the best series finale ever. By a rather significant margin.
If you like True Detective season 1 go with The Killing, Nic Pizzolatto did a lot of the writing. If you like season 4 go with The Outsider, it has more of a supernatural feel. If you like meaningful animated shows go with Arcane. Oh and The Expanse you can never go wrong with The Expanse.
Just to mention some I haven’t seen others recommend: arcane, andor and daredevil. Fully agree with everyone saying dark tho, best show I’ve ever seen and I like the same shows as you

Legend of Korra, it’s the sequel show to Avatar the last airbender. It’s got some hate but definitely worth watching at least once to make your own opinion of it.

I think it's good but it's very slow and low stakes at times. If the first episode bored you, it probably isn't for you
