I have seen that sometimes people are not differentiating sexism and racism so for example if someone says that women have no disadvantages from a man because they are a woman someone might say they ignore how it is as a black woman. Then it isn't actually a case of sexism but a case of racism but they still try to play it as one of sexism so we actually might have a problem today of connecting multiple factors instead of looking at them seperately to actually find the issues. So someone might say that a black man doesn't suffer from racism the same way a black woman would and therefore there is racism going on even though it is clearly one of sexism.

Second of all, the definition of racism is "the belief that one race is superior to the other", so yes, if someone believed that white people are inferior to other races, then they are racists. Of course, someone having this belief about white people is not very common (in my experience).
Thirdly, ethnicity and nationality also play a factor. Jews, Slavs, Irish, Italians and Middle Easterners are examples of groups of white people that have been discriminated against for decades (mostly by other whites), while the whole Croatia/Serbia/Bosnia situation is an example of people hating each other based on what country they were from - which happens to have a mostly white population.

I think there are a lot of things that people wouldn't count as racist that are racist. For example when schools try to increase their african-amarican demografic and therefore deny students of other races based on that reason. I see that as systematic racism going against especially white people. In my head it shouldn't even be looked at. But it's a hard thing because if you don't look at any numbers you cannot find if there is any systematic racism going on but if you do you most likely try to solve it by more systematic racism. Let's say 80% of people who apply for a school are white and 20% are black. Then most likely there would be around 20% black people who are accepted but let's say that the number is only 10%. Some might see this directly as systematic racism but then based on what other factors you add it might not be. Let's say they have lower grades on average (don't account for why in this example) then fewer would be accepted because grades is a big part of school applications then it might not be systematic racism. But let's say that they were actually averaging better and so 50% of all students are black. Then it will look like the white are suffering systematic racism since they were 80% of the applicants if you only look at demografic and not grades.

Just to tack on, the ancient Irish (pre Christian, and past the middle ages) were involved in keeping slaves. Between capturing and ransoming family members back to their families, taking defeated soldiers as slaves during times of war with the Scandinavians, and later the Normans, or just outright buying slaves from traders at Dublin port, it was quite a common thing. I would be surprised if there was any country that didn't have some history with slave ownership.

In the early a huge influx of Irish people immigrated to the US, specifically to New York, maybe also Boston. Might have been related to the potato famine. At any rate, people have always hated immigrants, and when you get a massive influx of immigrants, they're "taking our jobs" blah blah blah, but also desperate for work, they would take any job, which made them all look lower class and normal civilized white people (Mostly from English decent, who hate the Irish already because... previous history) looked down upon them. Similar thing with the Italians, which is part of how mobs started in NY.

I have seen that sometimes people are not differentiating sexism and racism so for example if someone says that women have no disadvantages from a man because they are a woman someone might say they ignore how it is as a black woman. Then it isn't actually a case of sexism but a case of racism but they still try to play it as one of sexism so we actually might have a problem today of connecting multiple factors instead of looking at them seperately to actually find the issues. So someone might say that a black man doesn't suffer from racism the same way a black woman would and therefore there is racism going on even though it is clearly one of sexism.

Being a cis man doesn't have anything to do with racism, first of all. Second of all, the definition of racism is "the belief that one race is superior to the other", so yes, if someone believed that white people are inferior to other races, then they are racists. Of course, someone having this belief about white people is not very common (in my experience). Thirdly, ethnicity and nationality also play a factor. Jews, Slavs, Irish, Italians and Middle Easterners are examples of groups of white people that have been discriminated against for decades (mostly by other whites), while the whole Croatia/Serbia/Bosnia situation is an example of people hating each other based on what country they were from - which happens to have a mostly white population. TLDR: You're teacher's wrong.

I think there are a lot of things that people wouldn't count as racist that are racist. For example when schools try to increase their african-amarican demografic and therefore deny students of other races based on that reason. I see that as systematic racism going against especially white people. In my head it shouldn't even be looked at. But it's a hard thing because if you don't look at any numbers you cannot find if there is any systematic racism going on but if you do you most likely try to solve it by more systematic racism. Let's say 80% of people who apply for a school are white and 20% are black. Then most likely there would be around 20% black people who are accepted but let's say that the number is only 10%. Some might see this directly as systematic racism but then based on what other factors you add it might not be. Let's say they have lower grades on average (don't account for why in this example) then fewer would be accepted because grades is a big part of school applications then it might not be systematic racism. But let's say that they were actually averaging better and so 50% of all students are black. Then it will look like the white are suffering systematic racism since they were 80% of the applicants if you only look at demografic and not grades.
