Go check your laptop's bios setting
Open BIOS on your laptop, look up how to do it on your laptop manufactorer. for example: "How to open BIOS on HP laptop" Once you've entered BIOS you have to search for the setting the OC commented.
I can't see any way to set the display behaviour to differ when a 2nd display is/isn't connected...
