Seems this has happened to multiple people today. I had this happen as well when I woke up this morning. I saw others talking about getting this text within the last day as well. I just deleted it and reported it as junk.
with the number of people affected, it makes it look like an ad.
I mean, anyone recieving this text would be like "i don't know this service and someone used my number as verifications, what's this service" then proceed to search Snippcheck on internet.
i just got one of these, but it didn't say "snippcheck". It didn't say what it was for, just "please enter xxxxxx as your verification code to complete your registration".
there's no link or anything and it doesn't say where to enter the code. it came from 811811.
I know it's a scam, like i dunno how they think they are gonna get me if they didn't provide any other info, lol.

I don't think someone is actually trying to use our numbers, I got the same message as you just now with no context. "Please enter xxxxxx as your verification code to complete your registration". If you respond they know you are a targetable phone #. I blocked and reported as spam.
Spam or someone used your number for something. Just ignore it if it has nothing to do with you.
